| The OP pales in comparison to Inner Universe or anything else Origa did, RIP Origa. Well not a bad first episode, but it feels somewhat lacking compared to SAC, but I'll definitely be watching this series. |
| I've seen the first 3 OVA's haven't watched Ghost in the Shell: Arise - Border:4 Ghost Stands Alone. So this series is a seemingly fluid transition from the OVA story for me. There wasn't that much action but the political, philosophical, economic, transhumanistic and moral issues which are raised are what makes GITS so cool, and while set in the future, has the kind of timeless effect being very relevant now as well. |

| kinda weird watching this because the 4 arise movies i've seen didnt air that long ago. especially because they start with the fourth movie..maybe its just to refresh our memory and we get some new stories after they are done recapping it. |

Somewhat lacking? lol You have noooo idea... though I did like the animation of the OP. Very sci-fi-esque. Though the music was not up to par. I still find it hard to get used to such a censorious, impatient and irritable Major... Why Production I.G? Why? GitS is indeed one of your flagship anime too. Can't they at least do new material? They have the budget and staff, and GitS already has an audience. :/ Or atleast 2 cour... What can they do with 10 episodes, most of which are just edited versions of the movies? Argh.. |

| But animation was really shitty. I watched many first episodes yet this was almost a slide show in few sequences. Movements were stiff and all in all I'd expect at least normally good animation from IG, not some mind blowing stuff but at least good not taht bad. And yeah. Whoohoo for "let's wreck this franchise" #yolo I guess. |
