| Between Hakuoro's character entry on MAL and the Wikipedia article, I think I've figured out mostly everything except for Eruruu/Mikoto... So Mikoto was dissected and obviously died, but clearly Eruruu is Mikoto given the ending as well as her having the master key to get into the facility. It says on MAL that Eruruu is the "reincarnation" of Mikoto, but that doesn't make sense unless I'm missing something. There wasn't a big divine life creation event mentioned between Mikoto's death and the events of the anime... so what happened? If it's just a symbolic reincarnation, then how does she have the master key and why does Hakuoro remember her at the end? Does Eruruu have the master key because she's the baby of Hakuoro and Mikoto and she lived somehow? That would make the final kiss different. That all confuses me O.o Edit: The best conclusion I've found is that the baby survived somehow and several generations of offspring later, Eruruu is born and the key is passed down through the family to her. |

You are correct, or at least that's how I saw it, too. Hakuoro is essentially Eruruu's ancestor. |
