| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Another interesting episode. Poor Ushio and Tora...they just can't go outside without being attacked, like ever D: The monster of the week is a kappa-like youkai. Well, I guess there's a lot more than that as well...with the mention of Hakumen no Mono (referenced already previously in that episode with the airplane terror youkai) Anyways yeah. Weird cliffhanger. |

Intense episode. That's a lot of ugly-ass youkai coming after Ushio. Not sure if he can handle them all on his own. I hope Tora stops being a tsundere and helps him fight these monsters.  It's great that the Kamaitachi siblings decided to help Ushio. Been curious about Ushio's Mom for some time now. I wonder when we'll get to see her.  |

| Good episode, a lot of decent action. The bus part with Tora was pretty funny. Even Saya had a short cameo in the episode, I wonder if they will meet up again. I'm really interested to see Ushio's mother and Hakumen no Mono. |

| THAT EPISODE WAS INCREDIBLE. I believe there will be a fight between Ushio and his mom. If she is protecting Hakumen no Mono, and also it's strange that his mother is hundreds of years old. I loved the Kamaitachi, the way they helped Ushio, the next episode will be INTENSE. |
| The plot is really starting to get interesting now. Learning more about Hakumen no Mono and how Ushio's mom protected it. I have a feeling the Beast Spear is the only thing capable of destroying the barrier Ushio's mom put around HnM. Also, Tora on the bus was very funny lol. |

| The story is really moving forward now. I cannot wait to see Ushio's mom show. I bet she's one powerful lady. I couldn't really take the Kappa seriously. He kept on reminding me of the mayor in Arakawa Under the Bridge, LOL. |

| So much plot! Damn Tora is really popular. Way more than I thought at least ^^; Loved the song the Kappa sang for some reason. So from this I guess Ushio's mom protects Hakumen? From what I understood he's totally on the human side? Why are they hyping him up like he's the last boss? Or am I missing something? Didn't expect Saya to already be back. And Tora really just left Ushio like that? The Tsun is strong but I guess he really can't figure out his feelings and why he's helping Ushio out so this should be a good trigger. WTF is Ushio doing leading them to a village? I'm sure they'd attack without mercy even then O_o |

It was mentioned after all that it draws joy from their agony. |
| Didn't they say in earlier episodes that once the Beast Spear was released that Hakumen thing would awaken? I'm sorta speculating that those women who put the barrier around Hakumen are there to prevent him from awakening and it would sorta make sense to me if the spear impaled Tora and if Hakumen was sealed around the same time....... :o I liked this episode, finally we're getting somewhere! |
| Those two siblings are pretty quick to kill their own kind, kind of makes me not respect them, then again none of the demons are that respectable in general. Great episode. |
