THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. EDIT--- THIS IS THE FINAL CHAPTER! IT ENDED. Keep in mind orange is a solid 10/10 ---------------------------------------- Well.. now that was intense. That fucking scene when he confess... my god. ;_; and that little cuck really almost killed himself again.. Thanks Overlord everything ended well, even though it didn't feel like it was 100% finished at all but it could have been more remarkable |

Pretty good series. 6.5/10 My biggest problem was that the one dude who marries Naho in the future got totally fucked. How fucking depressing would it be if you knew you were sloppy seconds but you thought your wife was the best? |

Indeed, a good series. I'm thinking of rating this a 7 or 8/10. The confession scene felt slightly underwhelming for me but eh...I think worked out in the end. Glad to see Kakeru realized and not for killing himself. Somewhat interested in the live action film. And if by some chance someday, can we get an anime adaptation as well? |

I'm gonna miss this manga so much. I cried through the chapter ;_; I felt so anxious and worried at first. I just can't see this with a sad ending. I just can't. I'm glad it ended with a happy ending <3 It was really beautiful. ''Ill save you again and again .. '' Hopefully, there will be side stories/extra chapters! This can't be the end! i want more ;; im hyped for the liveaction and i wish there is a chance of a anime ;-; 10/10 - One of my favorite series.. ;_; |

I really loved it, I actually started reading it today after seeing a cute cap of it, and luckily it had just finished! As someone who's dealt with depression myself (though never to the extent of suicidal thoughts), this manga explained them so realistically. And while I'm a bit upset we only got a confession scene at the end rather than a full-blown kiss or anything, I thought it was a really nice touch that this manga was about how all his friends rallied together to support him, rather just than the girl he likes. It was just so sweet, and really refreshing to read... And on a less serious not, one of the best parts of the chapter was when Hagita broke his bike... I was already crying and then that happened and I started laughing and I was just a mess XD But yeah, the last chapter may not have been the perfect end to the series, but the series as a whole was so good that I don't mind :') |

To be frank, I was kinda scared it would end really traumatically or the opposite (lovey gooey Shojou bs). I'm so glad it didn't. It might not have been the best conclusion, but I'm glad every person came of use in this manga. All of the friends contributed to what now exist of the present Kakeru. |

O_o to be honest, i'm more surprised that i didn't cry reading this chapter, than the actual ending, and it was a really great one, not perfect, just a little bit rushed, but the idea of it was there, and i totally loved it Incredible manga if you ask me .. a 10/10 .. but i'm totally biased here so idrc ^^ .. and once again dafuq am i suppose to do with my life now? .. |

Hagita is too awesome in this chapter. XD So F. Naho made a vow to save Kakeru again and again and again, even though she will not "witness" her accomplishments. But atleast she saved Kakeru. :) So in the current timeline Kakeru x Naho and then in the "future" world, is still Suwa x Naho. Those sudden confessions are a bit... Meh... Oh well, good manga. :) |

Uhmm I'm sorry, I really enjoyed the manga but: When adult Naho and Kakeru pass each other in the final page of the chapter, does it mean that in the future Naho will still be married to Suwa? |

So is this the end? What are the next chapters going to be about? I'm quite happy since the "present" Naho gets to have a confession from Kakeru and it doesn't change the fact that she married Suwa in the other timeline. |

memylia said: Uhmm I'm sorry, I really enjoyed the manga but: When adult Naho and Kakeru pass each other in the final page of the chapter, does it mean that in the future Naho will still be married to Suwa? I think what Future Hagita said was the "situation" that happened... Even if them, the future ones, sent the letters to the past, their "past" selves have created an alternate future where Kakeru is alive and a possibility of different lives for the rest of them. (Kakeru and Naho married, Suwa soccer player, and the rest.) this " alternate future where Kakeru is alive" is different and will not undo what happened to Future Naho's Kakeru. (Still dead.). So maybe to this alternate future of their past selves, Naho would still end up with Suwa or a Naho x Kakeru. The author ended it so maybe bonus chapters may show who past Naho ends up with. :) i hope. :D |

In the lasts pages, when this is written "If you ever cry alone again or even if the day comes when you find living to be painful, then I promise I'll save you again and again" is that Naho or it's the rest of Kakeru's letter for his future self? I suppose is common sense to think it's Naho but it would be awesome if Kakeru really thinks that way towards himself from now on. I'm really glad we got this ending. I know this is really cliché but I was hoping for this kind of end after all, but I'm still a Naho x Suwa shipper, I'm sorry Kakeru I hope we get something else like and extra chapter. It's just too open for an ending... |

This manga was beautiful from the very start to the finish. The feelings were handled perfectly and even though I haven't suffered from depression I think the way this manga handled was almost perfect. I also liked that it wasn't just Naho saving Kakeru, it was the whole gang. Cheers to beautiful friendship. I know it may sound cliched but I'm so relieved that no one died... atleast in this chapter. I ship Kakeru and Naho so I'll be happy if they r together in this timeline while Naho will continue to be with Suwa in the other timeline. Just hope that Suwa finds someone else in present timeline. But I think Suwa should have told Naho about his feelings regardless. Loved it. 9/10 Now that this manga is over, I would love it if it got adapted. IT HAS TO BECOME AN ANIME. Btw, is this really the last chapter or will there be some extra afterwards? |

I seriously love this manga. It got me hooked from start to end, not knowing what possible outcomes may come every time Naho does something. This last chapter tested my patience so much, since I couldn't wait for a month to see what happens to Kakeru. However, I wonder what could've happened if Hagita didn't "break" Kakeru's bycicle? If Kakeru still rode the bike? Would he have swerved away at the last minute when the truck comes or would he have run out of time to think if he really wants to still live or not? I don't know. I love the fact that Kakeru lived, but I also wonder what could've happened if he didn't (I may have sounded like a sadist or something here, I'm sorry lol.) |

/Just a copy paste from another forum// It was a rather open ending. I am a bit disappointed the author didn't show us their future adults in the current timeline, also was hugely disappointed that future Naho never told the current Naho about her family with Suwa. But it's still a good ending, it was all to save Kakeru and they succeeded! I am really glad that Kakeru chose not to kill himself because he lives such a happy life with his friends and didn't want it to end. It's a such an extremely positive message there. It's truly beautiful that in the end it was all of them who saved Kakeru. lol @ Hagita breaking Kakeru's bike xD Suwa continued to be the best bro and friend and even a love interest you could ever have. God, I totally love how he hugged Kakeru and how determined he is in both timelines to save Kakeru even if it means to sacrifice your own earnest wishes. And that little scene of Naho wishing to save Kakeru from the start, to make him the happiest boy ever lived, it's one hell of realization how much you can do for one's life especially your loved ones but it really made me sit and think for a while of those people you wish to treasure forever. And of course the letters,( I kinda wish the grandma also wrote a letter to him, I'd be bawling my eyes out here lmao). They are truly amazing people and it's such a huge loss to choose death over angels in disguise like them But well yeah, I am sorry Kakeru but Suwa totally won me over. Idk about the last page, I thought the it was the continuation of the scene where their future selves going home from the earlier pages but she and Suwa wore different outfits, also how they passed each other, so yeah I'd like to think that they are still together in the future of the current timeline. haha okay that's just me wishing for Naho/Suwa ending regardless anything happens to Kakeru lol Now that I think that again, it was kinda a let down and uhmm.. unfair that Suwa held back so much and didn't have a chance to make a move on Naho because yeah Kakeru's life>>>>> but still, their stories wont end here in high school. There will be lot of opportunities and chances for all of them to try out new things and experience new path, people and even a new love. Tho I am not entirely feeling this chapter as the best chapter from the series, it's still a good and satisfying ending. I kinda hope we can peek into the current timeline's future to see how they are as adults with Kakeru in some special chapter or something(although it's very unlikely) Anyways, it's such a roller coaster ride of emotions and feelings reading this manga. It has a very good plot and characters(tho there times where Naho and Kakeru frustrated me, and Naho was turning into the clichéd crybaby shojo heroine at some times and some of the important characters from the main gang are under developed, lack of character backgrounds) and it also introduces me into one of the best shojo male character, Suwa and one of the cutest baby from my favorite OTP ❤.❤ Bless you author san. Oh. 8/10 from me. I really enjoy reading it, it's an amazing story with lovable characters but it's quite depressing and I really do love Orange but not on TnK or Ouran level for me(maybe the lack of side cast characterization and background didn't live up to my preferences ^^;) |

Sigh... I was prepared for the worst but he survived. And the moment they showed the letters for Kakeru I felt like my tears were about to burst. I would've preferred though if Kakeru died. Everything was perfect until I realised he was just scared to death. I also didn't like Naho in general. She is so meek is annoying. Anyways, this manga is amazing! Very enjoyable, interesting concept and it really makes you question yourself about the things you take for granted in life... |

I think for that last 2 pages.. Other Naho got a feeling that they saved Kakeru, therefore she looks back and cries with a smile on her face. So you really can't tell if she still ended up with Suwa again in the current world? And idk if this is good to assume this but the backgrounds of the last panel on the bottom of page 51 are the opposite of each other, so the Naho appearing there is still the other Naho? I hope the movie coming out in December clears this up lol. I'm so confused Is this really the last chapter? How come it says 27 chapters on the manga page. @_@ |

Can't even begin to explain how relieved I am that it didnt end in a tragedy. At first I felt the last chapter was too short but after re-reading it I changed my mind, the ending felt very complete- kakerus self-loathing and suicidal thoughts didnt magically disappear(thats the way depression is, it doesnt just go away) but now the people dear to him know about it and can lend their love and support to him, absolutely loved the group hug between them all. Last page with parallel world naho looking back really broke my heart, I'm sure shes at peace knowing that the other kakeru is alive but it still doesnt change the fact that her kakeru is dead. A lot of people seem to be confused with the couple situation, whether naho ends up with kakeru or suwa-she basically ends up with the both of them, just in completely different worlds/timelines. So suwa fans dont worry, he has a happy ending with naho in the other timeline. |

Orange has left me with so many feelings... Honestly I was expecting Kakeru's death since this would make the story closer to our human reality: we cannot change the past and, even if parallel worlds are real, we aren't able to change the past of our world, of ourselves. This ending, although more painful, it would be good as well (in my opinion) because in the end the decision of living was at Kakeru's hands, so the point was on doing everything which was at their fingertips to show him motives to keep living whatever it was his final veredict. Nevertheless, the actual ending is brilliant. I feel it more like a hope in the future: you must make an effort every day for the ones you love and you will be giving them more encouragement to live. By the way, Suwa was a wondrous character until the end. I think one of his quotes summarize the meaning of the story very well: "I never imagined that losing you would be this painful and would make me feel this lonely. I'm sorry for taking you for granted." That's it: this story is about learning to not take anything, anyone, for granted. Every day is the last day, we are the ones who built the way to tomorrow. For this reason, for now I shall give to this work 9/10 points. I will wait until the last extra chapter to make my final decision. |

Thus series 8s what got me back into reading Manga, when I first started it I would always think I want the next chapter 9ver and over, thus series made me laugh, ball like a baby and everything in between. I initially thought about reading this chapter while at work once I saw the notification on my phone that it was out and boy and I glad I didn't because it brought the water works. All I can say is that I hope that side chapters or stories come out for this series someday and I also want the books themselves in English if they ever come out. Also I'd be all for an anime adaption of this but you never know at least there's going to be a live actio, I just hope it's done well. |

Scared of death at the last moment.... legit, because he was thinking of it all the time and he feels fear when it almost happens..... Dunno, kinda felt anticlimactic and then they kind of threw in comedy when they said Hagita broke his bicycle..... I didn't quite like it for some reason.... Meh, it was rushed. Still enjoyable overall, but it kinda feels empty because of all the unexplained stuff that could have been explained if it were a tad bit longer. I will miss this manga and I'll probably make a layout about it soon lol |

Okay, I hate future Naho now (the present Naho isn't at fault) Like, at least write to your younger self that she is married to Suwa. I know that it might get in the way of "operation save Kakeru" but FOR GOD'S SAKE he's your husband. Your younger self has the right to know it. No doubt, future Suwa got insecure about their relationship, thinking Naho would choose Kakeru if he was alive. She was all like, "no, it won't happen" but the manga left it ambiguous (if not pointing in the direction of Kakeru x Naho) whether she chose him or not. Ah, it would have been good for drama's sake, too.. Oh well. I hope there's a sequel in which this issue is confronted. Other than that, Kakeru is saved and is finally able to look forward. Man, he must be overjoyed when they told him they got letters. He must have gone like, "ah, so that's why all of them acted a bit suspicious so far. Like nothing out of ordinary but something felt a little wrong" He must have felt extremely happy, thinking how his friends are perfect and he is glad to have them. Hagita was awesome there, messing up with his bike lol. Good job, dude. Would have done the same *thumbs up* And Suwa best character of this manga! He's such a brave person, I would not be able to take it if I was in his position. Apart from this one problem I had, I still love this manga a lot. It has a good message but it would have been better if it gave a more, "fate can't be changed" message. Can't be helped. Besides, it's all upto the author. She did a fabulous job with what was there. Grateful for writing a beautiful piece of art. |

Can't help but think this could be more, and it seems a bit rushed the past chapters. This last chapter is good though, especially on the friendship theme-- I think it's actually what this manga do best. Feel so bad for Suwa, even though he seems happy. Best character indeed, and Hagita best comedic relief lol, and he's actually the hero in this chapter xD |

I really liked this end but wanted to show that ended with naho (I was a little unsure when she said she also wanted there to be a timeline where she and suwa marry), but I think maybe the creator wanted the person who is reading the final choice. I'm glad I survived kakeru :) |

OMG! BEST SHOUJO EVER! 10/10 I really wanted to see Naho and Kakeru getting married and having kids. But this manga was mostly focusing about Relationship and Friendships! That's kind of shoujo I love. I love everyone here, I should add it on my favorite list. This mangaka is awesome, should read more of her work. For people who are asking why it's saying that there are 27 chapters, it's because each volume, there is one extra chapter for this. |

I didn't cry at the last chapters, it felt too rushed. I rated it a 10/10, because I like how it's based on friendship. Hagita was my favorite character. And although I like Kakeru, I think Suwa is a better match for Naho :P |
