There's no season 2 in sight (unfortunately), but there are novels. As for similar anime, MAL has a bunch of recomendations, all of them not quite the same as Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance: http://myanimelist.net/anime/22877/Seirei_Tsukai_no_Blade_Dance/userrecs If I was to choose, I'd recommend "Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou", "Date A Live" and "Seiken Tsukai no World Break". |

Just replace spirits with dolls and it's essentially the same thing, although I do prefer Blade Dance.
