Seeing Kamiya Hiroshi make an appearance was awesome! It was a funny episode and I'm hoping to see other famous seiyuus in it. The manga looked really btw.
I started watching this anime because of Kamiyan xD
they perfectly made his chara just like the real him, and that Nyanko-sensei tho
wonder if he'll gotta make another appearance
anw, the three of the main chara is so cute, I've got to love them especially Ichinose x3
surely wait for more!!
Now I feel sad for those VAs that got their characters killed within an episode or after a few episodes. If things go well, they have another job to do (if someone from where they auditioned called).
If not...
lol nice reference from Hayate Gotoku
While watching I saw something familiar about that clock tower then the name of the school Hakou Academy came out plus their uniform are all the same
Since I watched Shirobako I understand how animation studios works and now I watch this I understand how VA works
Why not they cross over those 2 animes
silverwalls said: i wonder if kamiya hiroshi is that crazy about his cat irl too. :D
Yup. He is a total cat-lover and owns a cat, named "Nyanko-sensei".
This is such an uplifting fact. It's not like I didn't love love Kamiya before, but now...
This was a very good episode! They killed Pipo though :'c
It's nice to know how the voice acting industry works in Japan, very informative.
That manga was obviously referencing Shingeki no Kyojin and I loved it!
Oh, and that cliffhanger was nice. Overall, this was a very tranquil and nice episode.
I didn't think I was gonna enjoy it because of the artstyle, but I'm really liking this show so far :D
Joking aside, I really enjoy watching it too. I love this sneak peaks into lives of anime makers and voice actors.
And I realized why Aozora Production sounded familiar. Hiroshi Kamiya works for Aoni Production. I googled the main trio and found out that they really are newbies. That makes the snow even more lovable.
The girls are working hard. Futaba is growing on me since last week she was annoying the hell out of me. Ichigo is best girl! Evil Ichigo!!!
Kamiya greeting Futaba so nicely might make her understand, even the most famous seiyuus are human like her. I like how all seiyuus (regarding their experience) have to go through an audition. I don't think we get to say the same in every industry and specially, in every country.
What the f*ck is that ED? xD
LOL Kamiya Hiroshi made an actual anime apperance! nice one!
The three girls would host a web radio! Don't let yourself down Ichinose! there still hope in being a normal VA...just look! the producer noticed the three of you! perfect for web radio hosting!
5/5.
It's sure though to be a seiyuu, having to do a part-time job and even having to buy manga for auditions not knowing if you even get a role.
Ichigo is my favorite so far, very funny and cheerful.
I was hesitant, but I start to like this anime a lot, then the final scene in which Ichinose is rejected by the anime series in which she is working as a voice actress, has bent me with laughter. Excellent new end, I like this anime despite the quality and style of the design I do not like.
Im actually not sure i didnt check but i assume the mascot is also voiced by herself
oh
when she said job i thought she was going to her voicing job, but its actually her "part time" job at the conbini apparently
the op song is kinda strange but it is kinda cute i guess.
still feels really strange
seiyu is just beginning
from my understand there's basically two types of seiyu (sort of)
everyone starts with minor roles first, and then you either hit the jackpot with main characters, or you sloowly make your way up (or maybe never)
i dunno honestly there's probably anywhere from 500 to 10,000 in japan? i really dunno
actually yeah, to phrase it another way, there are two types of seiyu.
those that have part time jobs, and those that are famous enough that they dont need part time jobs
for thost that strike it i assume but hmm. by the time you having singing career and a decently constant stream of jobs/work
once you start voicing main characters, for popular series, etc
its a good question really but yeah that too, once they're popular uh...you're gonna get recognized
time to pick up the script. i suppose they want to keep it safe
aand yeah. you ahve the in training
there are some freelance seiyu as well, not sure how they do. maybe later? while here we have the agency, agency
i think at some times the most famous seiyu might have around 7 ish plus or less anime at the same time, which definitely sounds like near the limit. not that i know
wait. didnt futaba already go to work? its still morning? welp.
yeah uh. once you get famous i suppose your appearance is going to be a big issue
one thing that i vaguely recall from other seiyu interviews is that they say having connections and communication are important. i mean they always are, but the job is like that
i always wonder how the auditions work. like clearly these are "professional" auditions, so only those in the production industry will actually know about them. and not just that but its like closed ish? so its not like any newbie is allowed(?)
anyway
another way when you actually get famous, is that anime production might ask you directly for the role instead of auditions. but im not sure. its really up to the production on whether to pick or to hold auditions, but auditions i assume is still the majority
sometimes its the smaller roles that are just
but hmm
ichigo is so cute. not sure where is rin though
anyway so yeah. apparently rin is famous enough she's getting photos and news
but she's been in the industry for awhile
hmm. source material eh. adaptations honestly is an entirely different topic itself. but i believe the standard is the seiyu themselves do read the original. i think?
soo. also if anything i'd have thought the audition would have a huge number of people. not sure how they handle it, what if 100 or 200 people turn up?
thats why it closed i guess but still
i guess 50 people is still a lot, it seems
so yeah, a lot of people. huge
it does make me wonder in a meta way how our three was chosen for this anime itself
im not sure if ep 1 mentioned futaba or ichigo. rin is 15 and the other two im assuming are around 20 ish?
i mean there's always lots and lots
anyway so they are using the same size studio apparently, for just one person, which is kinda curious. i thought it would those table style one person audition
so yes audition time
its time
well thats the life of seiyu really,
either it was just a few lines, maybe just to shortlist, or they skimmed through it
interestingly they didnt ask futaba to read a different character, but they did for ichigo
also each of them seem to have only picked one character
while usually i heard 2 or 3 is common, at least to attempt
its kinda ironic really since takahashi rie is like way more famous than the other two. i wonder how many people even know of kono marika and nagaku yuki
if 10 or 20 people are auditioning for a role, yeah that's a lot of rejections.
it also means if you have to audition for every single role and you only have 10% chance, to get one role per year you need 10 auditions, and 2 you need 20
and even then its not guaranteed, it could be 1 in 20 or 1 in 30 for all we know
i mean we havent even seen ichigo's agency. also this time we have all 3 girls here now
still, futaba's agency sounds really weird. is that really the norm? or just an exception?
hmm. hmmm.
its hard to say actually just how many, there are definitely lots of hidden talents everywhere, but when everyone is talented its hard to compare
script time
rip. futaba's character is dead so its her last recording episode
Aaanyway it seems like
So yeah they were hinting at it/outright showed us in the op, that the three girls would be having some kind of radio talk show. nextt time
EP 2, tbh it felt like a totally different ep, but I guess sort of. EP 1 already covered the basics, so this ep was mostly the rest. Next time, some kind of radio talk show thing, and then?
Oh yeah, the ed. So apparently the ed for every single ep is different. Uh. It's curious thats for sure
