| Ben "Well...thats the other part.....didnt see the news? Charles Bernais assassinated in daylight....Charlotte was shot..and im thinking it was her dad that did it or got someone to do it...over the time she was in hospital i couldnt stop thinking about her...wondering if she would live...and by the time we left...she needed a new name and i suggested.....Kase...after my name.....and well...that lead to me proposing.." |
| Melody "I haven't heard any of this. " She looked a little shocked. "I've been busy but I didn't think I had missed this much." |
| Charlotte She was playing with her thumbs a bit, not blushing, but rather, quite unsure about what to say. after all, she was supposed to be dead, and she had the scar to prove it... |
| Ben "Yeah...i tried to find you and call you yet didnt have your number....but yeah all that happened..." |
| Melody "That's insane on a completely different level. Are you alright though?" |
| Charlotte She looked up at Melody and nodded "Got released from the hospital yesterday" She said, then slowly slid her shirt over her shoulder, displaying the shotwound scar underneath it, seemingly having gone through her heart "Apparently, it just missed...." |
| Ben Ben looked over at Charlotte with a sigh, now remembering all that happened, including what her had did and said before it all. |
| Melody "So I get the feeling I don't really want to know more. But I'm glad you're alright." |
| Charlotte she softly nodded as she put her shirt on normally again, looking at her hands again |
| Ben "oh and By the way Melody" He showed his bare hands, not smiling nor frowning. |
| Melody "No gloves?..... You can control it?" She asked excitedly |
| Ben He shrugs as he looks at his hands "Not sure, just...seemed to stop, whenever i touch anything i feel nothing..i dont quite get it" |
| Melody "Well that's a little strange." She said as she picked up her coffee taking a sip. |
| Charlotte She picked up her own drink and drank a bit, a soft blush still on her face, the ring on her finger as she held the cup, looking at Ben |
| Ben Ben nodded as he kept looking at his hands "Still not sure if its good or bad that its gone.." |
| Melody "It's still strange it would just disappear." |
| Charlotte "Now you would just have to find out about somethings past the old fashioned way" She said with a slight chuckle |
| Ben "Yeah i guess your right...thats gonna be alot harder then it used to be" |
| Melody "It probably won't be as weary though." |
| Charlotte "Just going to well, take a whole lot of time" She smiled softly |
| Ben "Yeah thats very true, wont end up on the floor passing out like i used to" |
| Melody "Guess we'll have wait and see what happens with it." |
| Charlotte She nodded "Just gotta wait" She said with a nod "Who knows what might happen" |
| Ben Ben nodded as he took a sip of his coffee, leaning against a beam. |
| Melody "Anything else I missed while I seem to have not been pay attention to anything?" |
| Charlotte She blushed up a lot as she remembered their little...adventure, then quickly shook her head "N-no" She mumbled swiftly |
| Ben Ben too shook his head but not the same reaction Charlotte was having "Dont think so" |
| Melody "Good. So what are you two planning to do other than filling me in?" |
| Charlotte "Maybe we could go do something? Somewhere?" She proposed, before realizing how awfully vague she just was |
| Ben Ben chuckled lightly "Yeah we can go do something in town? go on another adventure and see what we can find?" he asked with a smile. |
| Melody "It sounds like fun. I can stop by the music shop if I can find it. I need a new music book." |
| Charlotte She nodded "So, back into the Center it is then?" She said with a smile, finishing her drink |
| Ben "mmhmm to the city centre" he nodded taking a long gulp of his coffee |
| Melody She finished off her coffee and grabbed her jacket. "I'm ready when you are." |
| Charlotte She smiled and stood up from her chair as well "Ready" She said cheery |
| Ben Ben quickly finished off his coffee with a small burp and said "Ready" |
| Melody "We're off then." She said as she opened the door and walked out. |
| Charlotte She quickly followed after Melody, holding the door open for Ben to walk out after which she would close it behind her |
| Ben Ben walked out behind them, although on the way out he Took Charlotte's hand and held it as they walked into town. |
