| Kimagurena Joi Joi's hand reaches out to the voice, making contact with her cheek. No Mila... It's my fault... I'm sorry, he begins to cry, tears spill down his face, I'm sorry... He repeats again. |
| Mila Tears constantly flowing as she speaks "I ruined everything...i fucked it all up....you tried to kill yourself....you lost your eyesight...." |
| Kimagurena Joi I was the one who betrayed you Mila! I was the one who kissed another behind your back! I am the one who deserves this! You didn't do anything wrong... You're to good for me, a lowlife piece of scum. He wanted to see her face, those soft lips that he had kissed numerous times, the flaming red hair that he loved so much. Yet he couldn't... And he didn't deserve to. |
| Mila Mila didnt say anything, she stepped back slightly so her back was against the door. |
| Kimagurena Joi Joi let his hand fall back down to the bed as his unseeing eyes looked at the ceiling above him, This is my punishment huh? He says quietly. |
| Mila "I dont know what to say......anymore Joi...." She mumbled looking down at the floor |
| Kimagurena Joi Nor should you, he says, still quiet. |
| Mila "I thought you loved me.....then you cheated the next day......" she mumbled as more tears fell. |
| Kimagurena Joi Tears fell from Joi's eyes as well, he did love her. He loved her so much and he wanted to shout it out, tell her that she owned his heart. But he knew that would be unfair, she wouldn't understand. He sighs as more tears fall from his blind eyes, Mi- Mila I won't blame you if you leave me... he says, very quietly. |
| Mila "I dont know what to do....to leave...to stay.....or to go back.......if i go back you'll probably never see me again...nobody will....." |
| Kimagurena Joi His face twinged when she said "see". He would never be able to see her no matter what she did. His face twisted into a sad smile, that was the irony of it all wasn't it? |
| Mila "I think.....i should go....and think this through..." |
| Kimagurena Joi Joi nodded silently, trying to withhold the sobs that were threatening to escape him. He didn't trust himself to speak. |
| Mila Mila didnt say anything else, just walked out. closing the door behind her and heading back to her own room she hopped onto the bed and sat there thinking. |
| Doctor A Doctor came into Joi's room with another man, Mr. Kimagurena, this man will teach you the basics of being blind. Once you complete the course in full understanding then you may leave. Joi nods and gets up from the bed. The man approaches him and begins to teach. |
| Mila "I really fucked up this time......" She sighed, could she deal with Joi being blind? cheating on her the day after they confessed love? in short...she couldnt. |
| Kimagurena Joi Joi was slowly getting the hang of using his walking stick, the Braille was harder though. He had to learn what formations of dots meant what, he hated learning the Braille. The man said that he would have to practice in his spare time though. After half a day of getting taught how to walk, the man said that Joi was proficient enough to leave. Joi tapped his way to the door and opened it, he didn't want to leave Mila here by herself but he knew what her choice would be. Tears streaming down his face, Joi leaves the hospital a blind man. His breaths misting up in the cold, night air. He feels a rain drop on his face and he sighs. What a shit day... |
| Yet before Joi left Mila had already gone, and not by her own choice, her father and a couple of her father's bodyguards had taken her away, back to her family. She didnt have the will to even refuse. |
| The Ambulance arrived with Charlotte and Ben. The medics quickly brought her inside, into the Emergency Operation room, Ben would be stopped and asked to wait outside of the room |
| Ben Ben waited out side the room, hands over his head hoping she wouldnt be dead or dying. |
| The lights of the Emergency room stayed on, a couple of doctors got called to help and ran in as well, the waiting turning from 10 minutes to 30 minutes and still going |
| Ben "Please be alright...please be alright" he kept on repeating |
| After a full 2 hours a doctor walked out of the ER, his gloves and suit were covered in quite a bit of blood as he looked at Ben "She is stable for now, the shot barely missed her heart and hit a major blood vessel. It is closed for now, but we cant say for sure if she'll wake up..." He said sorrowfully "She's going to be moved to the third floor, room 307" |
| Ben Nodded "Thank you, Can i see her?" |
| Well, she's being brought upstairs now, but do be extremely cautious" He said to Ben, the sweat still prickling on his forehead |
| Ben He nodded quickly and headed upstairs to try and find her room, his mind running 100 miles an hour. |
| Charlotte She was already brought to the room, laying in the bed silently. Obviously her chest was well, normal, as the bandage wouldve been in the way, only the beeping filling the silent room |
| Ben Went into the room and sat beside her bed, trying his best not to cry. |
| Charlotte She was softly breathing, her chest and left shoukder bandaged up to stop the bleeding, her skin way whiter than it used to be |
| Ben He kept by her side, reaching with his hand and softly held her hand lightly, still wearing his gloves of course. |
| Charlotte She would keep on sleeping for quite some time, a nurse entering the room "Perhaps it is best if you go home and rest, it is long past visiting hours, and you seem tired" |
| Ben "Cant i just sleep here? please i dont want to leave her alone" he begged |
| The nurse looked at Charlotte for a moment, then at Ben "I can allow you to sleep here one night, but no more than that" She said, before checking a few things with Charlotte, then leaving |
| Ben Huddling up on the chair he closes his eyes to get some rest, the nurse was right he was absolutely exhausted. |
| (Wanna skip some time? Wont have her waking up that soon anyway xD ah, nurse will have a question first though ^^) |
| (Yeah sure go ahead :D) |
| When morning arrived the nurse entered the room once more, going tiwards Ben and softly trying to wake him up |
| Ben His eyes slowly opened and he immediately got up to look at Charlotte "Is she okay? did something happen?" |
| "She's not worse than yesterday" the nurse replied. She wasnt better either, but that didnt sound right "We coukdnt manage to come in cintact with her guardian, I was wondering if you coukd perhaps give it a try? Youre with her right?" |
| Ben "Her guardian would be her dad.....well.....i wouldnt call her dad her dad anymore....hes the reason she got shot..." he said angrily |
| The nurse looked at Ben surprised "Her dad shot her?" |
| Ben Shook his head and replied "She was talking to him on her phone....something about her never being his daughter then boom.....he hung up then she was shot...its not coincidence..." |
| The nurse looked at Charlotte "So she's having a mental drama as well then... the situation may be worse than we thought... well, thank you for telling that, and please do inform any acquaintaces of her situation" She said, before leaving the room once more |
| Ben "Yeah i will" Ben said then turned his attention back to Charlotte |
| Charlotte hadnt moved an inch since last time, the monitor still making the same slow beeping noise. (Gonna go sleep now) |
