| The paramedics The ambulance carrying Mila and Joi arrives and they quickly transfer Joi into an operating room. |
| Mila Fell unconscious when they arrived, her legs still materializing. |
| The Paramedics The paramedics hand Mila to the doctors as well, who move her to an operating room next to Joi's. |
| The Doctors The doctors begin to operate on Mila and Joi. They were very confused as of what to do with Mila but eventually stabilized her condition. The doctors treating Joi managed to stop his lung from bleeding and stabilize him as well. |
| Kimagurena Joi Joi slowly woke, he opened his eyes, he could feel them open but he could not see. His vision was black, he sat upright which sent a jolt of pain through his stomach. He fell back down and groaned, someone put there hand on his chest, Woah. Calm down, I'm a nurse that works here a voice said. Joi spoke, his voice was raspy, I can't see! I can't see! The nurse quickly responded, A part of your Occipital Lobe shut down and it did not revive when you stabilized. It was permanently damaged, I'm sorry but you have lost your eyesight. |
| Kimagurena Joi Joi was stunned, Blind!?! He guessed it was punishment for all he had done, then he remembered, Mila! Where's Mila! The nurse spoke again, If you mean the girl that was with you, then she has stabilized, she is sleeping as of now. Joi nodded and sighed in relief, Mila was okay, thank God. Can I go see her? Then he realized he can't see her, not now, not ever. Tears slowly began to spill from his blind eyes. |
| Mila Mila still unconscious with her body now fully materialized like normal she began to wake up and immediately called out "Joi?........" |
| Doctor A doctor approaches Mila, I see you are awake. Your condition was mind boggling to say the least... |
| Mila "Condition? what are you talkin' about?..." she asked glaring at the Doctor. |
| Doctor Well, half of your body was in an energy state... You seem to be better though and there is no lasting damage. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for your friend, his Occipital lobe was damaged and did not recover, he has lost his eyesight... The doctor says this all very quickly. |
| Mila "Your joking right?...some cruel joke right?.........tell me your fucking with me...." |
| Doctor The doctor sighs, I'm afraid not, would you like to see him? the doctor says kindly. (Going to sleep, bye) |
| Mila Mila nods slowly not saying a word as tears started to fall. (Night night!) |
| Doctor The doctor helps mila out of bed and leads her from the room, he then heads down the hallway, leading her. He stops and opens a door, inside Joi lays in a bed next to a nurse. His eyes glazed over and not seeing as he speaks to her, upon hearing the noise of the door opening, Joi turns to the sound. The doctor gestures for the nurse to follow him and he shuts the door, leaving Mila with Joi. |
