I didn't think of myself as so left wing. Weird.
Now you're wondering if there's white text in any of my other posts.

Over there, I'm everywhere. I know that.

With all those questionably worded questions about multinationals? Makes sense.

Yay, I'm a Nazi! I still can't believe I'm only 1.88 on the Right Wing though. Must be rigged.

Economic Left/Right: 1.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 6.97

Well how else are you supposed to ask them?

Most of those questions assumed a globalised society (see how many times 'multinational corporation' comes up), yet I'm sure that many people who hold more 'right wing' positions do so on the basis of a more nationalistic scope. I think the test could be improved with some sort of effort made to enable people to make that distinction between nationalism and globalism in their responses. haha sorry about the questionably worded 'questionably worded questions' :3

It was actually just my lame attempt at humor.

Puns aside, I agree fully with your point.

I have encountered this in the past, and like many such tests, it has some screwy questions and it oversimplifies things a bit, but the final result seems to approximate where I actually am. On the economic scale, I score -6.88 (left), and on the social scale, I score -6.21 (libertarian). In the first chart under the spoiler tags in the original post, that makes me a decadent socialist. It is no wonder that I am not satisfied with politics in the United States; even the Democrats are far too authoritarian and right wing for my taste.

I agree that this system could also use some sort of globalism/nationalism scale. If this scale were separated out from the other two, I would likely score near the middle since I can see no good in either extreme. Nationalism, when taken too far, causes a population to become dangerously xenophobic and aggressive. Globalism, when taken too far, potentially causes a race to the bottom in environmental and economic security since countries with strong standards find themselves unable to complete in the global market. Either can be a significant threat to personal liberty. I don't think a globalism/nationalism scale would be entirely independent of the other two; for example, a hard core nationalist is likely to be on the authoritarian side of the social scale. Still, it would be useful to score people on this scale.
It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.
