| I thought Plastic Memories would be my AOTS, and it still could, but this episode brings it pretty close to taking it's place. 3 episodes for a confession? That's unheard of in romance anime. Sometimes you wait 24 episodes and you don't even get a straight confession, just some weird vague shit. It feels like the mangaka realized so many of the tropes that can sometimes ruin a romance anime, and made those a much less of a focus. We get a small misunderstanding in these 3 episodes, but it is cleared up quickly so it doesn't get annoying. While it was made out to look there was a love triangle, there never really was. I'm so excited to see a romance that actually takes place after a confession. Better yet, it couldn'tve happened to a more deserving couple. Takeo is a extremely different, yet fantastic character. Every facial expression, every line of dialogue he says, every action he takes is either hilarious, selfless, or sometimes both. Rinko is a great love interest as well. I was thinking that there was going to be some conflict with his appearance, but Rinko looks straight past it and likes Takeo for his personality instead of his looks, something I wish people in real life would do more often. And she's no pushover either. Even though she does kind of do the "women make sweets so show their love" thing, it is still very sweet. Their relationship is so balanced; Takeo will do something nice for Rinko, and vice versa. And you cannot ask for a better friend than Suna. He doesn't show it openly, but he deeply cares for Takeo, and does whatever he can to help him. They developed all these relationships at once, and they made it seem flawless. Granted, I doubt the next episode(s) can be as great as this episode was, but if this show can keep up with even remotely this level of quality, then all the better. I've fanboyed too much about a show made for girls xD |

| Suna such a great friend. That story was amusing to watch. Suna smirking haha. Really, they have a strong friendship. Rinko is so adorable, those confession was so cute. I'm really glad I started this anime, and I will enjoy this trough out the series. |
| What an amazing episode! Everything about this episode was perfect and had me smiling throughout, absolutely loved every minute of it. Definitely had the Shingeki vibe when Takeo emerged from under the bed and her response when he blurted that he had liked her since the incident on the train was amazing. I'm not entirely sure how their relationship will progress, but it does seem we're in for a couple more happy-happy episodes before any potential drama arises. Having not read the Manga I can only wait to see what happens next. Genuinely excited, possibly now sitting joint top anime this season. |

| Takeo said the same thing 100 times again. First ten minutes made me cringe multiple times. Thank God, Suna is in this show. Yamato, too. Dat confession was great. Suna best character. Selfless in true words. Hope one day we get a lead unattractive character whose unattractiveness ain't glorified to get the point across. Amen. Okay episode. Not as bad as the 2nd one. |
