| Title: Minami Soyokaze Minami Soyokaze is a story to show how japanese traditional families are tough and expect much from their children. The arrival of a transfer student (Setsugawa) will tie together the 7 main characters and at a certain point they'll decide to follow their dreams supporting each other since the commom point between them is to be released from the chains of their duties, from their families. I wanted to do something like Clannad, focus in their personal growth and follow some years of their life until they become adults. Characters: Henko Setsugawa - Usually wears cold colors, 16 at the beginning of the story, has lazy black eyes and black hair. Likes to play the piano and cook very well. Is pretty much afraid of big animals due to an accident in a safari during his childhood. Arrives at Soyokaze as a young dreamer trying to start a new life aside from his family (secret reason for now). Iwamoto Akiyo - Soyokaze's flourist daughter (did I wrote it right?), Akiyo is very close to everyone at Soyokaze. Black medium lenght hair, wears a blue stamped (flower stamp) hairband and usually wear dresses, has calm green eyes. 16 in the beginning. She's the motherly/onee-san character. Yamamoto Kentaro - Soyokaze's constructor son and Setsugawa's neighbor. Known for being the youngest heir of Yamamoto's family (Kentaro doesn't have a brother to take his father job). Every single famous building in Soyokaze and it's surroundings were made by the Yamamoto family. Kentaro is the energic and funny kind of character, has light brown hair and big brown eyes. Usually being saved by Akiyo in his studies since he's good in math and nothing else. Nakajima Kaori - Daughter and heir of Soyokaze's famous bakery, Kogai. It's Setsugawa's class rep., she's independent and friendly, somewhat an idol in the school even if she doesn't give it much attention. Kaori's dream is to be a Seiyuu but she has a big dilemma since her duty is to heir her family's bakery. She's an otaku in secret. Senshioka Reiko - Reiko's family is somewhat poor, all her parents are low class workers; Reiko's dream is to be someone important and rich enough to leave Soyokaze and go live in Tokyo. Has long black hair with a fringe covering her right eye, thin-framed feminine glasses and blue cold eyes. Very smart, Reiko is quiet and doesn't have any close friends in school. She hates Soyokaze except for her little brother. Senshioka Takeru - 1 year younger than Reiko, Takeru is a fragile looking boy who's always hiding behind his big sister. Has white messy hair and innocent blue eyes. Takeru don't have any dream or will to do anything, he's a constant target of bullies and is always protected by his sister. Takeru's story will be centered around his decisions to become strong. Midori Hina - Kaori's best friend, a very beautiful girl that's really into fashion. Her family owns a big network of clothing stores and her mother is a stylist, the richest family of Soyokaze. Despite not being stupid "I'm better than you all" character, Hina is seen as that kind of person since she's the only one who knows many places around Japan and said to be the dream girl of all the boys in the school forming what the boys call "Soyokaze's queens" along with Kaori. Hina has many friends but deep inside she feels alone except for Kaori, she's extremely jealous of her best friend. |
