Only part of the episode that I enjoyed was the end. Hiyori is gonna kick some Ichigo ASS. Woooot for the next ep. :)

Ditto. The lack of action is a shame, but then again it's necessary to advance the story. I'm definitely looking forward to the next one... Hiyori rocks, and I'm hoping Urahara will let on a little more about his bankai than he does in the manga (he says practically nothing except that it isn't suitable for training Chad).

Wow, totally kickass episode coming next week, I can't wait! This episode was first pretty boring but got really good in the end. I wish next week would come faster.

Far out, I don't know if I can wait that long. More Hichigo appearances are complete and utter love. Love how they distorted Hiyori's voice when she put the mask on, aswell. That was heaps cool.

And about time Sado did something interesting. He and Orihime need to get stronger. Atleast we know Orihime will, this arc.

Ah, sorry if it came off like I was talking about the manga. I was actually referring to her repeat appearances in the OP. A lot of people have mentioned that this could mean her playing a larger role.

The Ending was the good part, rest was pretty boring.
And have anyone thought about how bad ichigos hollow mask looks like in the op;

It looked much better the first time in full size, but oh wellz. It's just the op.

Excited about the next episode!!!

What are the Vizard? Ichigo's hollow seems to be a completely different being inside Ichigo that threatens to take over his body, yet it seemed Hiyor's hollow was not a separate being. She seemed to have control over her body with her hollow unleashed.

She kept wanting to see Ichigo's hollow, yet it's obvious Ichigo's hollow has a conscience of its own. What purpose would it serve? Do the Vizard know how to control hollows so that Ichigo can learn to control his, or does he have to "let go" of his fear of his inner hollow and let it loose each time he fights?

Too many questions.

From what I've gathered, it seems that the Vizard are exactly like Ichigo (in that they also have a Hollow inside of them). But, they've somehow managed to "supress" or "control" this different personality/being inside of them. So, basically Ichigo needs to figure out how they accomplish this stuff less he become consumed by his hollow.

The Vaizard have learnt to control theirs, and can unleash it whenever they like. If Ichigo's Hollow is strong enough (which Hiyori is currently trying to find out) they'll recruit him as one of them, whether he likes it or not, and teach him how to control it and unleash of his own accord.

You'd think that kind of control would come at the price of letting Hichigo take control of his body completely...

Speaking of hollows, I'm pretty sure Ichigo's hollow will turn out to be one of the Vasto Lorde (the strongest class of Menos). I can't wait to see him fight once he's in control of it. That may well be even more awesome than when he first used his bankai in the Soul Society arc. I'm psyched.

Well, the vasto lords are hollows that have taken on shinigami powers, vaizards are shinigami that have taken on hollow powers, thus having a "hollow inside"

Ichigo is a vaizard and well, he doesn't contain a vasto lord =P

Nope. You're a bit off there.

Vasto Lordes are the highest class of Menos Grande (the others being Adjuchas and Gillian), which are hollows. Arrancar are hollows that have taken on shinigami powers (and Vaizard are the opposite, like you said). If you remember, the Arrancar who died in the past few episodes were all Gillian, the weakest of the Menos. Vasto Lordes are the strongest, and as Hitsugaya pointed out in an earlier episode their fighting power is above that of a captain (and that's without becoming Arrancar and attaining shinigami powers as well).

There are very few Vasto Lordes, so I doubt even all the Espada (the 10 strongest Arrancar, if you remember) are Vasto Lordes. I'm positive that Ulquiorra is one of them, but I assume some of the weaker ones (like Yammy, the big guy whose arm Ichigo cuts off) are Adjuchas.

To summarize, Vasto Lorde, Adjuchas and Gillian are all classifications of hollows, specifically Menos Grande. Vaizards and Arrancar are combinations, having both hollow and shinigami powers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hollow_(Bleach)

It's getting a little confusing with all these different groups and all the new characters. Even I have a hard time keeping everything straight.

By the way, I expect written reports on the nature and composition of the Espada by tomorrow ;)

I liked this ep, and I'm LOVING the new style/animation. I hated the previous style.......*shudders* The end was, of course, the best part, and I can't wait for next week!

After three or so tries, I finally got episode to work (last night and earlier it didn't download it all...). But it looks good... I wanna see how things go with teh vizards and all.

:/ And for some reason Keigo's sister made me think of Yumichika sometime during her appearance.

Except that they aren't. They're a subcategory of Menos Grande, which are a type of hollow. Being a Vasto Lorde has absolutely nothing to do with being an Arrancar. It's just that since they're the strongest hollows and can fight evenly or better with a shinigami captain, they'd naturally make the strongest Arrancar/Vaizard.

Since this arc started i was more bothered how Bleach directed with his ideas, the sudden "oh i can walk in the air and stuff but didn't bother to do so when i was in the first arc" for example, but i really liked this episode. Maybe it was because of the lack of action. I'm really digging the music, and i got more drawn to it when Ichigo was talking to the vaizard dude. It sounded like a scottish type or something, but anyways it was great. The vaizards, they all looked weird, people i don't expect to have any important bearings in the story but except for shinji i guess, and i wish they had done a better job at drawing them. I see whenever Ichigo get his ass handled in a fight now, he goes on training. I hope Grimmjow kicks his ass again, but i doubt it. Ichigo is expecting to be awfully strong after he takes control of his hollow.

Shado, my favorite character. I wonder how is going to evolve in this short period of time so he can at least stand against an arrancar because if i remember he couldn't even stay two seconds before he gets his ass handled on the floor.

Next episode please :)

haha, yea, that was bothering me too. Like, if they could do that all along, why didn't they? And how is there traction on the air? They drag their feet after being hit, but what is it gripping??!! >_<

Actually fans of the manga would know that Ichigo runs on air (with the same traction and everything) a number of times - Starting in the second chapter in his fight against Inoue's brother.

I'd always thought it had something to do with the barrier SS puts around places where Hollows/potential danger is about to/possible to occur.

Still weird how they only decided to incorporate it now - After 115 or so episodes.

okay I don't know about you guys but I actually enjoyed this better than most of the previous Bleach episodes. who cares about action really? (bad question) we got a lot of plot here instead of more mindless beating. Kaname owning Grimmjow scene, that was awesome.

...in any case I'm really looking forward to the next episode. that's the first time i've said that about bleach for quite a while.
