| it's funny, I've watched considerably less anime than both of you and I love cons. It's the social experience and especially cosplaying that I enjoy. I love working hard on a costume that will be appreciated by a lot of people, and seeing a bunch of crazy cool shit too. Good place to trip face. |

| You can: buy stuff, merch, manga, anime go to panels to discuss shows simulwatch shows on the big screen watch people do anime trivia join contests and stuff watch performances of dancing and singing?? last time i went, i had to earn volunteer hours so i watched anime with people the entire time. patlabor gundam build fighters uchuu senkan yamato sakurasou ...sao |

| I live in Miami, so the major con here is Florida Supercon. It's the largest convention in South Florida. I might go with my friends. The con is in late June. There was one in January called Animate Miami. One of my friends went and said that it was fun. |

| JAFAX here in west Michigan. Used to be on the Grand Valley campus but it got too big so they're doing it somewhere in Grand Rapids this year. It's free so that's a plus, not sure how big it is compared to others but I plan on going this summer, think it's in June. |

I'm thinking about going as Haruko Haruhara, I'd pull that off like super fucking well, but I equally want to do something like wear an Iwo Jima flag-raising shirt with a stormtrooper helmet and swimming trunks or something. It's a really difficult choice for Sakura con. |

I think I'm going to go as someone from Prince of Tennis, just need to buy a polo online and get the right color shorts somewhere, too hot for anything else haha. It was basically an educational panel going into the history of hentai & porn, and the taboos in each, and why certain things are the way they are in hentai (tentacle monsters, censoring, etc). The panel did pretty well. Showed off some "interesting" stuff in it. xD I also did burlesque one year. |

| The 18+ panels are the only ones that I really go to. I hang out with friends or in the dealer's room for the rest of the time. |

| There will be an upcoming Otakon in our university this March 29. Might as well go but meh, not having too much expectation since it's gonna be held on a very small venue. |
