So who is she at all? What will her role be? And what do you already like about her?

I heard many theories, that she may be Bernkastel, Asumu or a younger Virgilia (I prefer the third one ^^). But I think this is a new character which should be a good thing.

I love the beautiful portrait of Ep.5 and her style!

Virgilia is a no-no, as that's obviously Kumasawa. And I'd say she isn't related to Bernkastel-sama, as that would be too obvious.

Anyways, if she indeed is a piece in the game board she will definitely change things a lot. This also makes me wonder: Will the Answer Arc provide us with entirely new games?

She's not going to feature at all, she's a troll pulled by Ryuukishi.

I think Beato's going to give up and she's gonna take over for the witch's side.

so yeah i was looking around to see if i could find out who this mysterious girl is and i was able to come up with an answer, from wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Umineko_no_Naku_Koro_ni_characters

Erika Furudo (古戸ヱリカ, Furudo Erika?)
Bernkastel's piece on Episode 5's gameboard. Coincidentally drifting ashore during the family conference of 1986, she is able to break through the limits imposed on the first four games and become the island's 18th person. She claims to be a detective and manages to solve the epitaph with the help of her excellent reasoning skills and Battler. Erika is rather insensitive, and lacks compassion, only caring to solve mysteries to prove her superiority to their creator. After the events of the first twilight, she makes use of her rights as the game's detective to lead a full blown investigation which eventually pins Natsuhi as the culprit. By tackling Fantasy with Mystery instead of Anti-Fantasy, Erika manages to completely deny the existence of Beatrice and end the game. As a reward from Bernkastel, she is declared to be both the Witch of Truth and Game Master, but the latter of the titles is soon snatched from her by Battler. Battler destroys her theory and forces her to make a new one with a value equal to his, much to Erika's dismay. Since there are now two possible truths to the game, it ends as a tie. Seeking revenge, Erika swears to expose the truth behind witches and kill Battler in the sixth game. Her name is an homage to Frederica Bernkastel and Rika Furude.

hope this helps yah!!

Ehm, gogirl1616omg, If I'm correct we're not really allowed to spoil about the 5th game in this club, hence the name or else it was probably called "Erika Furudo Fanclub" instead of "Ep5 Character Fanclub". ;)
When will that damn translation be done, by the way? It's been a while since the translation of EP5 is updated... looks like it will be on 75% forever. Geez, and they did the translation of the first 4 EPs so fast, if they'll not work on it faster EP6 will already be out and that'll be quite stupid... seriously need to learn Japanese one day, I swear... grbml... <_<
