| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I thought the episode is quite good, we have some crazy technologies here that could change shapes to suit its surroundings^^ that won't do Kuniko and her friends any favors i suppose. I'm never sure what does Shion see in Ryouko whens she has such annoying personalities and is always ill-mannered. Oh god! Kuniko and Momoko are already having problems with this...city and Kunihito(annoying me now) just have to show up to annoy them when he didn't really need to. It looks like Kuniko found out Nagiko's secret so things are going to be interesting from now on. |

As Kunihito is still stubborn and still are going to stand in Kuniko's way for a while longer. Though I just realize how much he is so much like Suzaku from Code Geass x.X Anyway, for the episode, it was great. More background story, much action and we got to see Ryoko for once being a weak person :D Other than that, I'm worry about the Metal-Age people. I hope they all don't die. |

| Very good episode. I'm ecstatic that they've finally given us all of the pertinent information regarding Atlas, and thus, the background and relationships between many of the characters. What's left I suppose is the question regarding Kuniko's mother. It seems that Kuniko and Ryouko are relatives (sisters? cousins?), and I'm still wondering exactly how Momoko fits into all of this. |

| For some reason I end up feeling this anime does better with fast-paced episodes like this rather than those ones where Kuniko was feeling all gloomy, those felt like they just starting slowing to a crawl for me and got annoying after a while, seeing Kuniko so sad. I'm wondering if Nagiko is Kuniko's mother, who's her dad? Or am I forgetting something said earlier about that...Ah, well. Is this going to be a "the mom had hopeful ideas that turned corrupted by other people" situation? That's how I see it at the moment. Also, is the other man in the picture with Nagiko Houjou supposed to be that Tarsian man? Other thoughts at the back of my head: Who is guarding the jail now, what's the deal with the earrings between Mikuni, why does Sayoko appear to be dying and live and dying and live all the time, when Medusa became intelligent, what's with Digma Zero, and why haven't the old couple in Duomo appeared more? I love those two's commentary. XP |

| so kunikio's grandmother is one of the people who start atlas? and no wonder they don't have dozens of armed men defending the city, they got drones and the holographic city to do that for them, plus they are using poisonous gases too |

They were jumping on rockets in the last episode, that's nothing to be surprised. So her mother started Atlas. And who is that old guy? Her father? It was nice to see Ryoko not getting her way for a change. Now i won't to know why did they built that thing. Ryoko saying that is for her to play with shows what character she has. |

| I swear, Kuniko's boomerang gets bigger every time it appears. The reveal at the end was interesting enough, but Kuniko is still incapable of reacting to anything without violence, except the one thing she should've reacted to violence with: her voluntary capture by Ryoko's goons. Feels like she could easily get Kunihito on her side through appealing to his morality (which seems to exist, despite his naivety), since Atlas's only real issue is that it's governed by completely psychotic people, who Kuniko presumably intends to dispose of; but she doesn't even attempt to deal with him in a more reasonable or controlled way. |
