Located in the housing district of town. It's surrounding by rising apartment complexes and narrow alleyways. Completed to the fourth floor, it's filled with numerous rooms and hallways. Outside is a construction crane that towers over the surrounding buildings. Completely sealed off, there is only one entrance for workers.

Whistling as he stepped through the created door to the compound, he nodded his head a moment. "Well, you were right... No lady is ever gonna' follow us here," He joked with a smirk. "I think it works... Now here's hoping they have a bed. Take it from me, sleeping on wood and stone is not the most revitalizing of places," He commented seriously. That was another strange thing about this war. Sleep. Sure he napped regardless, but he never really felt the need to like a human did. This body that he was in was real. Which could have its set of pros and cons.

Following Nate through the door to the actual building. "Well, Nate. What room catches yer eye? Any preference?" He inquired as he inspected the place.

Looking back as Nate seemed to be preoccupied further investigating the place, Magoichi held two fingers to his forehead in a mock salute. "Well, you stay here and keep checkin' things out. I don't really mind where I sleep. I'm gonna' go do some reconnaissance," He told his Master before heading back out of the area and easily hopping over the walls protecting the compound. Though he said recon, Archer was undoubtedly just going to go screw around.

Lost in thought, Nate was trying to remember the room he had chosen. It had been on the second floor but the doors didn't have any identifications to them yet."Wait..." he said turning around, though Archer was already gone. *Sigh* he heaved rubbing his head lightly. Turning back to face the doors he did a mental check of where he put the mattress.

While investigating the place he had seen one thrown out, while not clean it would do for sleeping. Walking three doors down he checked the door on his right, empty. Going across the hall opposite of it he opened the door in front of him, empty. Closing the door he then opened the one to the right of it and spotted the mattress. Walking in he closed the door behind him to be greeted by an empty room.

With not even paint on the walls it was merely plaster with a window letting light across the room to touch the door. Putting the bag of food and his baseball equipment on the ground. He plopped down on the old mattress with his back to the wall. Riffling through it he decided it would be best to eat now. No telling when he'd get another chance if they ran into another servant and master.

The whole thing seemed like a monumental challenge. Would he be able to win? No, he had to win, there was no doubting himself. Staring at the wall with a blank expression on his face. His mind wandered, from the current situation to his past memories. Imagining a face he muttered Casey and squeezed the wrapper in his hand.

Closing his eye's he thought it'd be a good idea to keep an eye on Magoichi. Crumble, he was now overlooking a street with people walking up and down it. One of them carrying a guitar case and chatting to a woman.

Sneaking back to the construction site, Magoichi made sure none was watching before effortlessly vaulting himself over the walls once again, waltzing into the building like it were his own. "Yo! Nate! I'm back," He announced with a grin. "Did some reconnaissance, learned about the land..." Beginning that, he found Nate and wrapped an arm around his shoulder. "Met some ladies... Not bad for a dead man, eh? Already takin' one out."

Releasing the boy, Archer sat his guitar case against a wall of what he assumed to be the "living room" and stretched his arms. "Oh! By tha' way. You have some sort of spell or something we can use to talk at long distances? Just in case we're apart an' you need help. Can't neglect you, after all. Also... Are theme cafe's normal in... Where the hell are we again?" He inquired. Thinking on it, he never asked where they were. It certainly wasn't Japan.

Upon seeing him enter the premise, Nate opened his eyes. Standing up and stretching he heard his greeting and responded with "In here!". Being greeted with a shoulder wrap and the recount of events he merely said "I saw.", indicating he was watching over him.

Upon the questions Nate turned toward the window and looked out. "We're in a small town called "Finocchi". It's located near the French Alps, Europe." He said turning away and rifling through his bag of supplies. Producing a thin atlas of the area he handed it to Magoichi. "Themed cafe's aren't all that unnatural even here. As for ways to communicate there is one. Though I can only communicate to you." he said with a pause afterward.

Speaking again this time his voice seemed louder than before. "I was just now projecting my voice to you. It generates no sound and is similar to how your thoughts seem audible. Though we could also get cell phones." he said with a chuckle. Looking again outside, the room had become increasingly darker since Magoichi had left.

The sun was now halfway behind the buildings in the distance and an orange hue of sunlight was spraying into the room across his face. "We should probably head up to the crane to chat, before it gets too dark." he said turning his head back to face Magoichi.

"Europe? Well... That makes a bit more sense," Magoichi mused with a shrug. Not bothering to ask about how he knew what he had been doing for the day, Archer moved onto the more important matters. "Well, that's a nifty trick. That'd work in a situation, but if I need to warn you about somethin' it wouldn't..." He thought aloud whilst rubbing his chin. "Well, guess we should get those cell phones yer talkin' about."

After agreeing with his suggestion Magoichi nods to the notion of heading up to the crane. "It's probably easier if I carry ya' up... unless you wanna climb that giant ladder," Stating that, he reacquired his guitar case. "And once we get up there, you can tell me how you were watchin' me exactly... Figures the first Japanese girl I meet likes playing hard to get, huh? With that attitude, she belongs more in my day 'n age as a princess, don't you think?"

"Heh, I'll climb myself thanks." Nate said, imagining the scene of Magoichi carrying him. "I merely did what I did at the factory." he said with a slight pause before continuing."To put it simply, I replace my eyes with space momentarily. My mind then processes the light it receives. It's like watching a slide show, or a Magic Lantern." he says relating it to an archaic device.

Though seeing Magoichi doesn't have the faintest idea Nate puts his hand to his chin thinking of a way to explain it. "Okay, it's like blinking slowly." he said demonstrating by closing his eyes and then opening them again. "Except unlike blinking I could lose my eyes haha." With that he figures Magoichi has an idea.

Grabbing a empty bag he places a few water and food items in it and ties a knot with the ends. Heading for the apartment door he opens it and they leave down the steps. Going outside they approach the mammoth of a crane and climb up to the makeshift door constructed of crossing bars. Wrapped around door and it's frame is a metal chain and lock. Crumble, it disappears and Nate opens the door motioning Magoichi in.

"The top should be unlocked, I'll meet you up there." he says closing the door as the chain reappears. Looking up at the top of it he slides his arm through the bags loop and starts climbing.

"Well... You Magi never cease to creep me out with yer... abilities. I'd rather keep my eyes, thank ya'. I am an Archer after all," Magoichi commented with a laugh. Following Nate out, he whistles as he examines the height of the structure. "You sure you wanna climb it?" He confirmed, though his Master was already on his way up. Chuckling and shaking his head, Archer looked up at the crane once again. "Well, suit yourself."

Hopping up onto the first beam, Magoichi began to swing, vault and hop his way up the structure. It was relatively easy for him since he was a servant and it was even easier due to his agility skill. Archer would be at the top long before Nate did. He wondered if the boy might've been worried about his methods of transport. It was plausible that a human be wary of hopping up the side of a giant crane.

Watching as Magoichi clambered up the crane, Nate was comparing his method of accent to that of a monkey climbing a tree. By the time he was a third of the way to the top, Magoichi was already at the summit standing on the platform surrounding the operator box.

Steadily making his way up, the buildings around him began to shrink. Upon clearing the top their peaks, his face was struck by the fleeting sunlight. Squinting his eyes momentarily he looked at the setting sun and town below as he neared the top. With the wind hallowing in his ears joined by the clank of his feet at each bar. He eventually found himself at the hatch.

Grabbing the handle with a free hand he opened it and climbed onto the platform. Being greeted by Magoichi Nate sat down, letting his legs hang down over the hole he climbed out of. Tossing the bag over to Magoichi, he stared out over the horizon of the city bathed in golden orange sunlight.

Smirking as Nate emerged from the hatch, Magoichi folded his arms behind his head and leaned back against one of the bars of the crane. "Have a nice workout, Nate?" He teased with a chuckle as he caught the bag tossed to him.

"It's a nice view... Too bad we won't always be able to sit down and relax with it," Archer commented with a sigh as he folded his arms. "But... war takes up your time. And this one is definitely going to be a time-hog. Better enjoy this while ya' can, Nate," He further advised.

"So, anything else we need to strategize? I didn't meet any suspicious people on my outing," Stated Magoichi with another shrug. "Grail Wars are usually like this at first... Quiet... Then, well, not so much... Not at all, actually. Things pick up. Not that I'm complaining. I'd rather be able to go drink some sake whenever I want rather than worry about Servants and Masters."

Staring out over the town Nate simply listened to Magoichi's words. He knew there was probably some truth to be had from them but not how much. "There's some back in the room, though need you sober up here." he said turning to face him. "What can you do?" he asked blatantly. After a slight pause he rephrased the question. "What's your strengths and weaknesses? It'd be good for me to know so I can plan ahead.""

"Jeez, you're just like a buddy of mine. I'm a simple man. Just leave me my alcohol and women in peace!" Magoichi complained dramatically before laughing at his own act. At his first question, he tilted his head in confusion before Nate rephrased it. "Alrighy... Well, I'm an Archer class, so that gives away much of my strengths and weaknesses. Though, I'm a bit better than the average Archer. My speed can match and even outmatch some Saber classes... My strength while not the best is higher than normal. Can I take a hit... Eh. About as much as a Servant can be expected to. All around, I'm good at range and if I get caught in melee, I'll likely survive, maybe even win. Though... uh... don't go sending me charge orders."

"Alright" Looking down at the buildings under them, Nate searched for a target. "You see that red building down there." he said pointing toward a building a little under five hundred meters away. "Could you hit that white lawn chair from here?" he asked Magoichi. From their position without an unaided eye it was merely a spec of white.

"Testing me, eh?" Magoichi questioned as he looked down at the buildings below, spotting it very quickly. "Oh, that one? Hm... Well... Rather than firing off shots, I'll give you a comparison," He told the boy with a smirk. "Tell me, Nate. How do they say the Demon King was killed?" He inquired to him.

"Demon king?" Nate replied with a confused expression. Taking a few seconds he then took a guess at who Magoichi could be talking about. "You mean Nobunaga? He committed ritual suicide at Honnō-ji." Not quite sure what this had to do with anything he gave Magoichi a puzzled look.

At that, Magoichi looked a bit puzzled. "Eh? Really? That's what the books say?" He questioned with some obvious surprise before shaking his head. "Well, regardless of what those damn books say... screw'em. That bastard Oda was assassinated. Sniped while exchanging blows with that Akechi fellow. And who pulled the trigger you might ask? Your's truly," He explained. "I shot him from afar. The distance was I'd say... maybe a half of what is here, perhaps a bit more. Still, I wouldn't put your life on the line for a shot like that. Like I said, the Arquebus isn't that accurate. That shot hit cause of a mixture of skill and luck."

Nodding his head in understanding, Nate looked back toward his target of choice. It wasn't the first time he had heard of history books being wrong. Though he had hopped Magoichi's range would be better than half, it would have to do. As long as they had the advantage of range, they wouldn't risk being retaliated against. "You should know... I can't do anything besides the tricks I've shown you." Nate said not taking his gaze away from the chair in the distance.

He had never been interested in hurting people. So the thought of learning something that could hadn't occurred to him. "At best I can deflect attacks and confuse the enemy. The fighting will be up to you." he said, turning his attention back toward Magoichi.

Magoichi grinned at that. "You won't have to worry about that... I'm not a sniper. The arquebus is way to inaccurate for that. I'm sure that's why some fellows stuck with a bow 'n arrow.. But, when it comes to tha' raw destructive force, they were unmatched... unless you were to get hit point-blank with artillery 'er something," Archer said, shrugging at that."

"It's fine. We'll play the role of the sniper then... and if they get too close, well, surprise surprise, this Archer can kick some ass," Stating that with a hardly laugh, Magoichi slapped him on the back. "Now, if I had one of yer fancy modern guns... Well, we'd have already practically," He added with another laught.
