Lol at this show's version of Liu Bei. They also introduced Zhang Fei and Guan Yu, nice.

I liked this episode. This is really a show that I have come to anticipate every week, and now that Tomokazu Seki is in, adding a needed dimension to the show, I'm quite pleased with the direction so far...even if it is lacking in the animation department.

I really don't see exactly were is lacking in the animation department.

For me this was a little boring episode and i expect the next one to lift things up. The ears of Liu Bei were really funny.

Well, I think the pacing of this show is really going fast. Anyway It looks like the "Yellow Turban Rebellion" will be next.

There really is no animation. We see next to no actual movement in the scenes, but a series of a couple of pictures. Like when Little Beard Brother appeared. And especially in the sword dancing scene last episode; there we only got cg cherry blossoms and some hair in the wind.

Liu Bei really was weird but Cao Cao was even weirder. Accepting those bribes and then offed their heads whenever he felt like it.

It means he's not some stupid pseudo-superhero that only thinks about justice. :P This is Cao Cao after all, he's more an anti-hero than a hero, and If I was him I'd have done the same. After all, it's not like he didn't redistribute the bribes to the peasants after having a good time, everyone deserves a rest once in a while.

LOL we haven't seen the real Cao Cao just yet.

It's funny how the characters in this show can talk their way out of trouble.

So that's why Liu Bei sounded familiar to my ears. Speaking of ears, Liu Bei's big, stretched earlobes kinda looks funny to me. :D
You see there's no need to wonder where your god is,
Coz he's right here! ...and he's fresh out of mercy.

My image of Liu Bei comes from my hours spent playing Dynasty Warrior. It's quite refreshing to see him act so purely and honest here. I was rather shocked that Cao Cao took the bribes in the beginning, but it seemed he felt he deserved a vacation.

I lol'd so hard when Cao Cao decided to get back to work. Three seconds go by and it goes to next scene where the officials have all been beheaded. Cao Cao hasn't lost his sense of justice and character.

Glad to have seen Guan Yu and Zhang Fei make an appearance. Guan Yu is such a badass though he hasn't fought yet. Zhang Fei had the most badass intro in the series so far, but I'm sure his brother will best him later.

Enter Liu Bei, the 2nd gigachad of the story thus far. Cao took 'a rest' but the man deserved it, now he's back at work!
