| Her own ambitions and selfishness ended up taking her to the state where she currently is. I don't like her, definitely, though i think she's pretty cute. I feel kind of sorry for her obsession with Ulith. |

| In the first season Akira lost everything good in her life. Her Fans, Her face, and career. But that was not why she broke just a catalyst. Akira was already pretty Psychotic before she lost it all she was much more then a bitch but a crazy bitch liking to mess with and belittle people that did not praise her. So when she hit rock bottom she basically lost her will, something that Ulith would use to manipulate her. Of course that is risky because of her dislike of being belittled as mentioned before, not to mention that state of pure loneliness can make a person clingy not that they realize what they are doing at the time. Love and Jealousy makes people people do crazy things for the most normal of people. |
| When you think about it, she really is someone you'd take pity for when you disregard her bit*** attitude and masochistic impulses. In Infected, she lost everything as mentioned above. Her career, her family, and pretty much her whole aspect of beauty with a side of Iona being a superior model that only continues to belittle her and made her inferior. This only aggravates the double life she leads now. Her return to the modelling world amplifies her beautiful and innocent side when we know how much she loves Ulith and how she's quite arrogant and conceited. Overall, I don't like her, but her character us very dynamic and seeing her in action is really unpredictable. |

I think Akira has a fundamentally terrible personality as a human being (she makes a hell of an entertaining villain though, I do like her). Even without meeting Iona/Kuro, she would still target and spite others in her life, the way a sociopath does, deriving pleasure from the suffering and praise from other people. I think it's clear that the moment she lost to Kuro in the first season and got her wished reversed is when she began to go psychotic and desperate. She turned from manipulative bully to Aki-stabby overnight. While before she'd sweet-talk her classmates into dragging Ruko to her without lifting a finger, instead she'd lure Ruko into a abandoned house to slice up her face. What interests me about her character now is her lingering affection for Ulith. Akira knows that she was being used and abused yet she still seems to "care" for her. Is it because Ulith truly accepted the mean and horrible Aki-lucky to the core of her being? Or is Akira's attachment just a result of a worthless person being saved from the brink of despair by so-called "love"? She has nothing left to cling to so she wants to save that small bit of what was "good" in her life. |

| I love Akira in the first season. A psycho of a girl who would do anything to beat her competition and then losing it all and losing her mind. In this second season, I find her to be a bit pathetic, idolizing another girl in that fashion. I doubt it's even lesbian love, just borderline creepy in her admiration. But after losing everything and having someone "help" her, I could see where she developed that kind of attachment. |
| Akira was my favourite character in this series, along with Ulith. I liked Akira's psychotic personality, which she covered up with cuteness at first, until she was no longer able to keep up the facade. Ulith was masterful at manipulating others, as she said she learned to hurt people without leaving external marks, attacking their minds instead. Selector Infected/Selector Spread spoilers below: These two characters stood out from the rest, at least to me. |
