That's like saying, if anime wasn't invented, would you still be watching anime?

I would not have watched this series unless it featured Bonta-kun. Bonta-kun
is the intellectual property of Kyoto animation. So there is a connection.

LOL! I didn't even know this show is done by KyoAni until a few weeks ago. I didn't bother check the studio when I want to watch anime.
But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion.

It doesn't matter if you like LoGH,Monster etc.If you are a jobless or college/school dropout living in your mom basement, you are still an unintelligent loser. Taste in anime does not make you a better person. If elitist don't exist, casual pleb and shit taste also don't exist.

This!

I get that some anime fans use studios to get an idea of how a show is going to be portrayed.

i.e. Kyoani = more moeblobish

But it's always about the story's premise that hooks me in.

With Amagi Brilliant Park everything seems opposite. The way the story is being portrayed seems less like Kyoani and more like what another studio would do. Also, the animation seems substandard. There's way too much use of stills and repetition. In episode 7 it was hard not to notice. There was entire parts that looked like it was slapped together with stills and basic repetition movements. The kind of thing you notice when the studio is having issues meeting deadlines.

Although I like KyoAni, they're not the reason I started watching Amaburi in the first place, so yes, I'd watch it regardless of the animation studio. Would have probably ended up not liking the art and animation as much as I do right now, though.

Shows being made by KyoAni has never influenced my decision in whether or not I watch a show. KyoAni is just like any other animation studio. They just have some of the better quality animation in the business.

Certainly not, KyoAni character designs made fanservice mainstream.

And I do enjoy my fanservice.

It'd depend on what studio it was, but as far as moe shit goes, KyoAni does it best and they do it with great production values. If this was done by Silver Link or White Fox, holy shit would that suck. I have no idea how those studios make so much money yet still only have a budget of 500 yen to animate their shows.

This maybe one of the few KyoAni shows that i am actually enjoying, since it doesn't have that overflow of moeshit ruining the actual premise of the show.

I wasn't super interested in the plot synopsys but indeed decided to give it a chance just because I knew I'd enjoy the animation. I don't regret it, it's pretty funny, but I still think it shines brightest with its animation and character design.

Chances are veeeery slim, I first watched this shit because of the "hype" surrounding it, not exactly hype but the amount of people talking about it, if it wasnt done by Kyoani, this show would obviously fall into oblivion

Yeah, this show sucks, but I'm watching it because Kyoani (nice animation)

Maybe, because the plot and the characters are quite interesting.
But I started watching because of KyoAni '-' Without KyoAni it will not be the same anime.

Probably not. I'm a sucker for good animation and art, even in comedies. If the visuals are good enough, I can like shows with really bad plots.

Most other studios don't have the visual production value of KyoAni, nor their sense of humour. Even if someone else made a show like Amaburi, I probably wouldn't hear about it and give it a try.

I started watching this anime just a week ago because I *avoided* it partly because it is made by Kyoani. But when I read some BBSs' reviews and comments, I thought it would be good to give a try and I'm happy now.
To be honest, I really don't understand what the questioner means to say, though. Isn't it a statement disguised as a question?

What he/she said. TBH, I started watching this because of the unique DVD Cover that caught my eye. I'm enjoying this.

Although I am a big KyoAni fan, I think I would have watched it anyways. Because I give any anime a chance if the plot, character design etc. seem interesting. But I have to say, I am enjoying it more than I thought I would. Certainly way better than their recent shows Tamako Market (yet to see the movie though) and Kyokai no Kanata. Also, seeing that rip-off helped to be honest. But yeah, the studio being KyoAni was a major plus, since I enjoy their works in general.

If the girls aren't drawn the way KyoAni does it, then most likely no.

I thought it would suck because it was done by Kyoani and their shows have been sucky lately. But its pretty good and it makes me laugh. So I probably would like it by another studio but its hard to judge if that studio would hit the right notes for comedy as Kyoani did.
