I honestly don't think their is right or safe path in that entire place. Each hole will probably lead to a death trap.

That's what I thought, too, when I was reading... We'll see, I guess...

Anyone could have taken the right path. Just because they died on their way doesn't mean it was the wrong one. But meh, simple logic.

No, the point is that the path may have went nowhere and tey had to double back. Maybe even starving in the process. Which is why Alibabba is saying they found the right path because of the ones before them. Of course people could and probably did take the right path and may have died in the process.

My question then is why are the "wrong paths" marked differently? Was it different groups? Or perhaps different things down the path, like dead end / trap?

I get that the path that had no mark on it was because the people before them did not meet a dead end and turned back but why the Xs and Os. The Xs could mean wrong but what do the Os mean?

Let’s say I posed this question to you: “Can all human souls be bought with money or not?” Now remember, the keyword here is “all”. The answer is “There are times when you can buy them, and other times, not,” right? The human being… sometimes he’ll uphold his pride and conscience even if he’s offered ten billion yen, and other times he’ll murder someone over one yen. ~Izaya Ohira (Durarara)

Pretty convenient for there to be only one path without a mark. The reasoning behind the correctness of a path is kinda dubious but I'll let it slide for now.

The death traps most probably are in every one of them. Meanwhile, Jamil appears to be planning his move. Not a good first impression on his side considering how he kicked his food away.

I like the deductions of choosing which path to take.

Though, I'm not a fan of Ultra Ego boi over here. "Boo-hoo, I have so much wealth and power that I'm bored." Get some real problems.

Hm, so the villain guy is one of those power hungry rich guys who can't get enough. Didn't expect him to want to enter the dungeon too. He said he was "waiting" for those two and that he wants to "ascend"? Pretty interesting way of phrasing, almost seems like it was destined for the two to get there.

The marks on those entrances are confusing me though. I get the idea that somebody that found the right path wouldn't return to mark it, but why are some paths marked with a circle? That usually means something good. You'd think they'd use X's or skulls or similar warning signs. Or maybe they wanted other explorers to run into traps and deliberately marked them in that way.

Still, a bit weird how only one path has no marks. It could just mean nobody tried that one yet, lol. But it's their safest bet at that point, so ... good decision I'd say.
