| In Dark Tournament the charas will challange each other to get the rank of the darkest character 06 - 07. Here you can nominate charas. rules: -Each user is allowed to nominate 2 characters -The charas have to be dark, but not necessarily from a dark anime -Don't nominate a chara, who is already nominated -The character should apear in an anime from the years 2006 and 07 -Special mentions are allowed. That means: Since there is a 2 chara limit, you can mention chara, how much you want. these charas won't be nominated from you, but might be a inspiration for nominations from other users ;) The nominations will go on for 2 weeks from now on. | This is just nominations to have the character entered into the competition. Multiple nominations won't help any since we only require 1 nomination to enter someone into the contest. We want to have a lot of characters entered to make this a large contest. That's why we don't want everyone to nominate the same guy and only have a contest between like 6 characters lol. Since this is for 2006-2007, just make sure that your character has appeared in an anime that aired between January 1st, 2006 and December 31st, 2007. You can check this by going to a website like http://anidb.net/ So say you want to nominate Yagami Light(a lot of you probably do lol). According to anidb, Death Note aired from Oct. 4th 2006 - June 27th 2007. This means Light is eligible for nomination. If an anime started in 2005, but continued airing through 2006, then that is good too. Just as long as the show aired during 2006-2007 for a bit. |

| Since this is the first contest we're doing, I'd say it's better to end up with lots of characters nominated rather than too few. It's actually kinda hard for me to think of 2 characters to nominate T.T Nominating: Sonozaki, Shion (Higurashi season 1) ??? (????) I will have to think a bit more for my 2nd ^^ |

We can list down as many people as you want and it is optional. these would not be counted for the voting round. Well this is the main format where most the MAL competitions are held. |

Don't bother. Almost every idea is worth mentioning, so people shouldn't worry to say their ideas. There is a deadline. My first post says that the nominations will go on for 2 weeks after i opened the thread, so the deadline is the 7th January(next year ;P). Whether we will make votings with 5+ charas or directly start with 1 vs 1 challenges, will be decided from the Admins and me depending on the amount of the nominations. The list of the nominations seems relativly big even now. I'll expect more nominations :) I nominate 2 charas too, but I am not really sure for now. | I think special mentions might be a good idea for those who want to add them to their post. Some people (like myself) might have some trouble when thinking up what characters to nominate. Rather than try to pull something out of thin air, I would take a look at characters who have been specially mentioned. This might jog my memory to a character I couldn't think of previously, or I might just decide to nominate one of the special mention characters if I still can't think of anyone better ^^ |

| There is a character from a Dark Anime that I would like to nominate but he is not on the list. And that is the Millenium Earl from D. Gray Man. Creed from Black Cat would also fit the description. But I will settle for Uchiha Itachi and Yagami Light from the list. |
