While Takuma showed me his face a slight bit, Violet stares into his hood and then raises an eyebrow wondering why he got upset about it without listening to any word he said. "Well then, there is no need for you to hide your face. I mean perhaps people would like to know the person's face to get to know them more, no?" Was I too pushy? I shouldn't have acted so recklessly. Violet then turns to Diana and smiles at her. I guess I can find my way out of this place on my own. "Well um, see ya." Violet then leaves them alone and walks away as she tries to encounter what she was looking for. |

"I also don't know why they get pissed..." He says to Diana. "Hm... maybe you are right Violet... but it is easier to hide the face in the beginning..." As Violet turns to walk away, "You can talk to us whenever you want, see you later." He turns back to Diana. "So? Any special reason, why you are clinging to my arm?" |

she looks as Violet walks away "See you next time!" she then looked up at Takuma as he asked her a question "No special reason, why? shouldn't I?" she loosense her grip as she slowly lets go of his arm "sorry, guess I'm just excited for having someone eat with me...I'm used to eating alone..." |

Violet counts with her fingers. "One, two, three..." Okay, so I only need to read three more pages!? I'm sure as hell of a smart one. Hah, no one can surpass my brightness." I don't need anyone's help. I can do this all on my own. Yeah, that's right~ Have I been more than right? Never have I been more than right. She grins and keeps moving forward. "Is that.. Did I just find myself the dorms!?" Violet runs to the place and accidentally trips over a book and as she almost fell down, she reacted in a way that made her magic help her not fall down as she shakes her hand making her body stand back up. "Ugh.. That was super close. And what's this?" She picks the book and it wasn't at her interest so she threw it away. She then finds the dorms and leaves the library. |

"There is nothing wrong with eating alone. It gives you time to think." He turns around. "Most of the time I ate alone... I could think about stuff... It was nice..." He starts to slowly walk. "Anyway I want to take a look at the shelfs once more. Might be that there are other treasures among the books. And it would be a shame if they just get dusty because nobody reads them..." The smile on his mouth could be felt through his words. Very quiet he adds, "I need to get closer to my goal as fast as I can..." |

she smiled as he walked away "there's nothing wrong with it, I just think it's more fun to eat with someone else" she bowed slightly as he walked away "Are you still up for it or should we leave it for another day?" |

He stops and turns around. "You don't have faith that I keep what I promise right? ... I am hurt... I never said anything about not going to dinner, so if you want to let it be for today... then that is it, but if you want to eat today then that's also fine." He turns back. "Do you want to come with me, or do you want to stay here?" He starts walking again. |

"I..I'll accompany you if you don't mind..." she starts following him as she looks at the large variety of books around them "So...anything specific you're looking for?" |
Oct 4, 2014 1:42 PM
#59
"Well I have nothing specific... or maybe the category 'advanced magic theory' would qualify as something specific to look for... I am interested in advanced theories, which cover the usage of different elements to add additional effects to the magic. I mean why should I try different things if they are already written down in here?" He walks slowly, while looking at the shelfs. "Hm...." |

"So kind of like what we did?" She asked as she walks right next to him "Wouldn't it be more interesting to find out yourself instead of reading things in books" she looked around, all those books and all that hidden information, it excited her "Books are history itself...don't you think?" |
Oct 5, 2014 7:02 AM
#61
"Yeah, kind of like what we did. But since there are so many possibilities even with limited abilities you can spend decades without finding the combination you were looking for. Also it is not as easy to cast spells the whole day, so it is much easier and less frustrating to look through books." He sees that she get's excited while looking at the books. "Not only books are history... you might want to look at it from another point of view. You, I, the rest of the students, we all write history with what we do, even if it isn't remembered it still becomes part of history. So you could say we are also part of history. Same as this conversation up to this point. It is part of the history." |
Oct 5, 2014 7:18 AM

"So what you're saying can also mean the following" she smiled at him as she was liking the sound of the conversation "We don't only create history for the past, our actions can also affect the history in the future, correct?" |
Oct 5, 2014 7:50 AM
#63
"Once we reach the future, means that it is for a single moment the present and afterwards forever the history. So yeah, all our actions will be history. They can still affect the future and the present but they are already history." He moved a few more steps and then stoped to pick up a book about water/ice magic. "Hm... that could be interesting..." |
Oct 5, 2014 7:55 AM

"I guess that's true, our future will one day be our past..." she took a look at the book he picked up and even tho water was her weakness, she looked interested "Water and Ice...snow?" |
Oct 5, 2014 8:13 AM
#65
"Not exactly snow, Ice magic can be used in many different ways, I am kinda interested in how it could be used..." He starts to walk again. After a while he spoke up again. "Did you find any interesting books so far?" He looked at her while asking that question. "Since it is getting late, do you want to eat dinner soon?" |
Oct 5, 2014 8:21 AM

"I think all of them are interesting" she kept looking around, reading just a bit of every book to get a small idea of what they're about "Dinner? I'm ready whenever you are!" a small growl could be heard from her stomach. She immediately started blushing and looked away |

He started to laugh at the sound of her stomach. "You could have said something, while we were walking. Anyway let's go. Hm... What they serve as dinner..." He starts to walk towards the exit of the library with Diana. *Eating and then... time to go to sleep...Still I didn't expect to find out so much information...* |

Rina Belmont was slightly peeved that she had been the one randomly selected to be stuck at the front desk of the archives since it meant that she would be interrupted on a regular basis by people asking for help to find books. Though because there was nothing she could do about it, she let it slide and did what she normally did: read. The front desk was cluttered with books on either side of Rina, all of which Rina wanted to get through, though there was a clear window of space which allowed people to speak to her if need be. As she was reading a journal on recent advances in economic theory, she paused to look up and noticed a large group coming through the entrance. Must be the newest group of cadets, Rina thought. I'm somehow thinking that this "random selection" wasn't so random now... In either event, I'll just sit her and mind my own business until they decide to bother me. |

Kazuha earnestly listened to the young Mage councilor but then was reminded that this was a war by the warrior councilor and that they were to be fighting. The councilor introductions finished everyone was to head to their practice arena. Finished with her laments Kazuha decided it was best to just be a white mage. After all she would probably sleep in the midst of an important battle, if she was one of their main spell casters and fell asleep things can get messy. As a white mage she'd be in charge of healing and buffs so she wont get called on as much. As she headed to the library then remembered the books she borrowed yesterday seeing that she has already picked her job it's best to return them... Retrieving the books from the room she was in, Kazuha then caught up with the rest of the mages in the library and then noticed a girl at the front desk and apologetically went up to the girl, "Uhm...was I supposed to check out the books...? I'm really sorry..." Kazuha apologized in a solemn voice as she carefully placed all three beginner books on the desk as the girl seemed preoccupied by a book she was reading.Did I not see her yesterday...?~she thought to herself as she tried to remember yesterday's events again... |

Yugana entered the room, immediately dispersing from the crowd of students, though still attracting some attention... She wore a respirator, after all and when she breathed in and out, it was a bit more audible than most others. She quickly started looking through the books of the library, ignoring her so called "comrades". It's not like it mattered until their teacher arrived, after all. |

Rina set aside her book as the feeble-voiced girl walked up to her, bringing her the books she needed to check out. "No need to apologize, you should be fine as long as you start reading them before your first classes," Rina said as she took the stamper next to her off of its small pedestal. The bottom of the stamper glowed slightly with a light bluish magical light and she opened up each book and stamped the inside of the cover once, leaving a magical rune indicating the date due in its place. "Your books are due one month from today," she said as she closed the books, stacked them neatly, and handed them back to the girl. As the girl grabbed them again, they emitted a faint blue magical glow. "And since the books are bound to the second person who touches them after we stamp it, we now know who has the books and where they are located at all times, so don't forget to turn them in otherwise you'll have to pay a fine. And if you don't pay the fine, you may either be forced to pay more fines, imprisoned within academy holding cells, or forced to perform labor so I highly recommend turning them in on time." "On a side note, the books you checked out indicate that you're planning on becoming a white mage," Rina continued. "Good, we could always use more white mages, though I have to warn you that you may not like what you see if you think that being a white mage will be easy; it's easily one of the most stressful jobs we offer since lives depend on your performance. Now, is there anything else I can do for you?" |

Kazuha was utterly confused and crushed by the girl's explanation and overbearing pressure. Uwwehhh...I meant to return the books not check them out...Kazuha thought to herself as the girl stamped the books. At the words fine and imprisonment Kazuha became even more of a nervous wreck and started stressing out as she didn't even get to say that she took then out basically without permission and that she was returning them. But when the girl started to explain the role of white Mage and the responsibilities Kazuha panicked and fainted in her usual sleeping manner on the archive girl. I don't think I will even live...to find out who I really am... were her last thoughts as she faded out and fell face flat on the desk causing her books to fall off the table. |

With lightning-like reflexes, Rina quickly snatched her journal on economic theory off the table and held if above her head to protect it as the girl in front of her fainted and collapsed on the front desk. She then quickly looked the journal over to make sure it wasn't damage before she placed it neatly down and went to go gather up the books that fell to the floor to make sure they weren't damaged either. With a faint sigh of relief that the books were unharmed, Rina then moved to check on the girl. She moved the girl off the desk with some trouble and placed her on her side on the floor before checking her over. She was out like a light and might have a bloody nose and a bruised forehead but she should be fine otherwise. After her quick diagnosis, she called for some nearby people to escort the girl with her books to the academy's health wing located near the Symphonia Hall so that she wouldn't simply be in the way of the front desk. Now with that incident out of the way, Rina returned to the front desk and picked up reading again where she had left off. Well, that was certainly interesting. I've had people gag and throw up while I was explaining things but never had someone just up and faint on me, though I guess there's always a first time for everything. |

Yugana watched the sight carefully. She'll fall before the week is over She mused in her own mind. The girl seemed too frail for this kind of work... even more frail than Yugana herself. Sighing as she picked out a book she had been glancing over, though it didn't sound any different from her normal breathing, she made her way over to the counter as well. She figured she might as well check some things out that interested her before their teacher arrived. "I want to check this out." She stated blankly, not bothering to question about the girl who had fainted. It was a book of illusion and dark-type magics. |

Rina placed the economics journal aside, took out the stamp again, and stamped the inside of the cover of the book without even really bothering to look at the girl in front of her. "Your books are due one month from today," she said as if on autopilot as she closed the book and handed it back to the new girl. Just like before, as the girl grabbed the book, it emitted a faint blue magical glow. "The book is now bound to you and we now know who has the it and where it is located at all times, so don't forget to turn them in otherwise you'll have to pay a fine. If you don't pay the fine, you may either be forced to pay more fines, be imprisoned within academy holding cells, or be forced to perform labor so it is highly recommend to turn the book in on time." Now off of autopilot, Rina inspected the book and noticed that it was the very same book that she had checked out when she had first come to the academy as a black mage. "I would be grateful if you took good care of this book," Rina said as she looked at the respirator-wearing girl before her for the first time. While it may have creeped out any normal person, Rina wasn't phased in the slightest. "That books actually the very one I used when I first got here and started training as a black mage. Think of it almost like a personal favor. Only mostly not in your favor if the book is lost or comes back damaged. Now, was there anything else I could help you with?" |

"Understood." Yugana answered rather blankly as she took the book. She noticed the faint blue glow. Of course they'd have something like this in place... Someone could easily steal it otherwise. She thought to herself. "Then I'll make sure to return it... I do not possess the intention nor the ability to perform whatever labor is in mind." She stated matter-of-factly. Just as she appeared... Yugana wasn't the physical type... at all. "Sentimental value... is it...?" She questioned, or more rather commented eerily as she stared down at the book for a few moments. "I already possess enough incentive to keep it in its current condition... You have no need to fret." Yugana told the girl as she shook her head, turning to leave before pausing. "...Do you know who exactly will be the instructor... and when exactly they will arrive?" Yugana asked Rina once more. She wasn't exactly impatient... more that she didn't like having her time, which could be used for accomplishing something productive, was wasted. She'd rather get this training over with for the day so she could relax until being forced into the brawl later on. |

When the respirator girl said that she'd make sure to return it, Rina got the sudden feeling that she didn't always return what she borrowed, though whether it was true or no was a completely different story. "Unfortunately, I don't know who your instructor is or when they will arrive," Rina replied. "For whatever reason, they always seem to be late or are appointed last-minute. I'm sure you want to actually do something but I'm sure your instructor will get here as soon as he or she can. And, of course, you are free to browse through our archives while you wait." Rina returned to her economic journal. While she knew it was her job right now to help out the new cadets, she still hoped that she would be able to get through this journal by the end of the next few hours. |

Zoey grabbing Hayato's hand while she walks and enters the library. She realizes he has no need to be here because it's a Mage's Library. "...Um, well.. I'm sorry for taking you here out of the blue. I just.. wasn't thinking." She tells him without looking at him as she continues to keep walking while she holds his hands. In the middle of the place, there are books about magic and everything to learn from them appears to be piled up as she sees as sofa and she releases his hand to sit on the sofa. "Ahh.. this feels nice. Now to see which book I'd rather read." She said feeling relief as she wiggles her ears a bit and smiles at Hayato. She blinks her eyes suddenly as her eyes turn into a metal color. She deeply searches for a book that suits her best with her magical eyes as she then blinks again and her eyes turn into normal and with just her eyes she grabs the book as the book floats on air and then the book reaches her as she grabs it with her hands and opens it. "This is interesting... Hmmm..." She reads a bit of it and forgets Hayato is standing in front of her for a moment. "Ah! I'm sorry, you can sit here." She pats on the seat next to her. |

Hayato is still getting pulled through the academy, only to find himself in the library. "As I said, I have nothing better to do." As they arrive at a sofa, she searched for a book only to find it moments later. After getting invited to sit down, he took the offer. "So what is that book about?" He looks at her while asking that question. |

Zoey reads a few pages of the book and then stops as she looks at Hayato's eyes and she smiles while wiggling her ears. "Well, this books is really interesting! It's about the basics of magic and how to get into action on a stealthy way! I love sneaking around and catch my victims as I destroy them while they haven't got a clue. I mean, I surely am a Swift. My family, for generations we've been the top best and fastest foxes around. I've always been noticed by so many people it can be a hassle sometimes... Haha! Being famous can be tiring.." She says as she got tired just thinking about it, then she changes the subject. "So yeah.. Think of whatever you'd love to do with me? I'll be taking this book. I don't know where to head off to.." She stands up and searches around the library. "Hmm... Let's fight! I mean.. I'd love to know about your power." She says while she smiles and is curious about Hayato's nature. |

Hayato didn't turn away as she read a few pages. "Well one way to become more stealthy is to erase you killing intend. You know every being has a sixth sense, with which the being can sense danger. If you want to be stealthy try to be like empty space, or at least don't appear to be dangerous. Also I know what you mean with being famous..." He looks a bit bothered. "My family had their own martial art style, giving us some sort of unwanted fame. Especially regarding how others saw us after a battle..." At her later question he could only think *Think of whatever you'd love to do with me?.... I didn't think that we are already that close to being lover...* "... I guess you didn't meant your question as it appeared to be... As for a fight... well I need to hold back quite a number of techniques, but we can still have a mock battle." |

Zoey looks at Hayato as she listens to what he says about being stralthy. "Don't you worry about it, I'm pretty good when it comes to being stealthy. I'm not that easy to track either. Like I said, I'm like a ninja. Hehe" She lives as she smiles at Hayato while wiggling her ears. "Yes, being famous can be bothersome. But it can also be fun! Some people are nice to you." She smiles while she looks into his eyes. When he asks her that type of question she blushes as she is embarrassed about his question. " Umm.. No! I -- Uh, I meant as in battling together, heh. I didn't think of it that way." She looks away embarrassed as she find a way to change the subject quickly, but she panics and looks back at him with a serious face hiding her feelings. "Well anyway, yes. I would like to battle you but not a serious one, just for fun and practice." She hopes to find out what kind of things he can do. |

"Your words in gods ear. Miss ninja." He tries really hard to surpress a laugher. "Well you might have seen some nice people... but not all are famous in a good way... Our fighting style was also named as the crimson one..." As he sees her blushing, he thought. *Hoh a funny reaction.* He smiles. "Haha don't be embarressed everyone was missunderstood." He becomes serious once more. "If we want to do a mock battle we would need to find an open space..." He looks around. |

As he tried to make Zoey laugh, he succeeded. She laughs and smiles at him. "Ah, that surely is quite interesting. But you are right, not everyone is nice... There are also evil people out there. And I know I can trust the fact that you're not one of them, right?" She asks as she leans closer to his face and she smiles. "Follow me! I know a place." She grabs his hand and pulls him around as she runs with him. |

As she leans closer to Hayato, his face darkens. "What do you define as evil? ..." He was forced to run, because she pulled his hand... again. Running through the corridors between the shelfs. "How far is that place away? And how much space is there?" |
Oct 16, 2014 2:54 PM

"Hmm... I define evil... Like... Someone who would hurt another person...?" She scratches her head and looks for an answer to that. "This place is quite huge, I mean look at the walls and everything around them, they're all so nice and well made. I wonder who had the idea to make such a huge place such as this." Zoey smiles when she said that, and releases his hand. "Well, we arrived here." Zoey jumps backwards as she leaves a large space from Hayato. "Hayato-kun! Prepare yourself and unleash your powers!" Zoey runs towards him recklessly as she unleashes her thunder power to hit him but doesn't go hard on him because she doesn't want to hurt him. |

"In your opinion everyone would classify as evil, because I think that everyone would hurt someone if it is to protect himself/herself or someone close to that person. ... The idea of this place came also from evil people, since they try to train us to hurt others." She releases him, leaving some space around themself. "unleash she says..." Before he could even finish he already saw something comming. "Whatever..." He quickly closes in in one moment he was several steps away in the next he stood right in front of her. Fleeting Shadow. He started a butterfly kick right at her. Needless to say he could still stop the attack if she was not able to dodge or block it. |

In that moment when she saw how super fast he was and when he was about to kick, she dodged as fast as she could and rolled behind him as she crouched touching the floor with one hand, and looking at him all surprised. She takes a few deep breaths and stands up slowly. She cleans herself and smiles at him while she walks towards him. "You're pretty good, I think that is quite enough for me to find out your specialty. Haha!" Knowing he wouldn't back down just a bit. She finds him quite interesting. Perhaps I can stay with him a little longer, he's really interesting.. |

After she dodged his kick, he ended up in a standby stance, which he could use to react towards the next attack. Still there was no other attack, so Hayato decided to also cease attacking. He also cleaned the his clothes from the dust, which was setting on their clothes from the attacks. "Oh, what did you find out about my fighting style?" He looked at her with a doubting smile on his face, while standing there with his arms crossed. |

"I know that you are quite serious about this. I was actually testing you, to see if you were serious about this... And from what I've calculated, you sure seem like it." She said in a serious tone while looking into his eyes as she wiggles her ears. |

He starts laughing at her explanation. "Well fighting is a serious matter, it is a matter of life and death, a road either to safety or to ruin. Therefore I should even take mock battles serious enough to avoid injuries. Also it might seem like I like fighting, but I fight because I have nothing other left to do... It is the only thing I can do..." He turns away from her. "Well... once upon a time I thought I had the choice to do something else... but I was born in this cursed clan..." |

She listens and looks at him turning away as she suddenly grabs his arm and shows a soft smile just to let him feel that he is not alone, she too, will face a lot through the journey. "Hey, lighten up. You might have been born in the wrong place, but hey... At least you can change your fate, no?" She said trying to cheer him up a bit. While releasing her hand from his arm and standing right beside him. |

Confused about her grabbing his arm, he could only say. "It is already to late to change now... 'In the end it is our destiny to live and die on the battlefield, bathed in the blood of our enemy.' This is a qoute from our clans teaching, and this sentence was always true. Not one of our clan died away from the battlefield." He suddenly seems to seal those memories. "Anyway what shall we do now?" He looks at her with his normal face. |

"I guess it is time for us to get something to eat..." He said those words while trying to surpress a laugh. "Do you mind if I join you?" He asked politely, leaving behind all the words said. It nearly seems like he is moking his past now, with simply ignoring it. |

"Of course you can join me! It'd be nice to have a friend to eat with." She smiles and laughs a bit while wiggling her ears. "Let's check if they have fish, I really want fish!" She holds his hand to walk to the food court, as she pulls him and walks with him. |
