| Like the title said, do I need to have watch the OVA series before I watch this or is it doing the origins again? I know I don't have to have watch the Detective Conan series. |
| No, it's just the same but this will be a 24 episode version instead of a random episode or 2 a year. The special avoided from making a connection between the episodes so I think this one will have an overall storyline since that's how they seem to be building it up instead of being episodic. |
