| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I've got one word to describe my watching experience of this episode: pure, painful, TORTURE. This episode was the most corniest crap i've ever watched, seriously, it was worse than watching Akane Maniax, THAT BAD. Oh gawd, please don't let there be another episode like this... I mean, if just this episode was an ova or something for example, i would literally give it a 1/10. *Shudders...* |

| When Yuta was dying, I was like FUCK. Then, when he woke up..I cheered up. Anyways, the series is still going slow at this half way mark. I don't mind it too much though considering it is a slice of life series.. |

| That was absolutely miserable. I would of honestly preferred for Yuta to die, and the point being that kindness and magic can't solve everything, but one should still try their best(like the message in ep4). Despite that I think it would of been more impactful that way, this was still a great episode. I agree that Kera's speech about being a mage for the children was a bit cheesy, and the wind chimes saving Yuta's life was too ridiculous, but that was still touching as hell. I sobbed like a baby that episode. I once said this cast was bland, but the more the show goes on the more I have to disagree with that thought, the cast apart from Yume feels like real human beings with feeling and lives and distinct personalities at this point. Oyamada seems so tragic, he hardly sleeps and hardly eats, is lonely from losing someone special to him, someone he couldn't save despite how hard he would of wanted to with his magic, takes a day off work every year to go to their grave and still has this mages ring as a keepsake. Not a spoiler, and possibly wrong but I doubt it due to all of this being pulled out of clues the anime has given us. Perhaps the reason he would give Kera the ring is because it allowed him to save someone he loved, something Oyamada can only wish he was able to do. In a way using her lost life as a way to save one. Predicting an Oyamada episode will be one of the last. |
