Which should I read first?

I know that Nana to Kaoru: Black Label comes out after Nana to Kaoru which is the main series, but which one would be the best to start from?

Should I catch up to the original then read black label ?

I'd start with Nana to Kaoru to get a better understanding of the main characters.
Black Label is set in the future and, if I recall correctly, doesn't provide any background story.
Either way, I find Nana to Kaoru to be more enjoyable. Black Label is a little bit more mature.
