If you think about it rationally, Karen could go with him when the time comes, OR he doesn't actually have to go back if he bothers to tell his mom about her (I'm 100% certain she'd respect his decision.. I mean he will be old enough by that time, after all). Also, given how mature the characters are supposed to be, he was such a coward. I did the same thing as he did when I was 12 (not joking) and regretted it for years afterwards. |
