| Yikes, that was an intense episode! I was really surprised, it almost felt like a final boss battle, and I was really surprised when Kyuuki took a bit and blood started flowing out. I was like omg is this actually the end??? New characters too! I guess they're Seimei's sprirts. They're in the OP, so maybe we'll see more of them too! Regarding the quote, it sounded like a “I'm gonna beat up all those demons! So lend me your power!” to me. I think it's less of an emphasis on him defeating them all by himself, and more of an emphasis on him doing it without anyone else stepping in and doing it for him, or stopping him from doing it (so he wants Mokkun's power to help him defeat them, but he doesn't want Guren to do it all for him, or for Seimei to use his bippity-boppity bullshit and come save the day really simply) |
