| That was decent I guess, definitely watching the sequel OVA. I wonder why they didn't make more adaptations for this as it seems it had a lot of material with the manga having 40 volumes. |
| Damn nice episode with a great ending! Mostly expected but damn still sad to know that she might really be gone forever. This was definitely a short but interesting Ova lets see where the sequel ova's will catch up to the story! |

| Man, in just four short episodes, I've already become so attached to these characters. The story seems like it's going in some interesting directions. I think I'll definitely have to start reading the manga once I finish the next OVA, this series is just far too good for me not to. |

| Ends just when it's getting good (and the sequel is a big disappointment iirc, but gonna rewatch it anyway*). Not sure how Benares felt he could demand Pai/Sanjiyan bring the statue when he had zero leverage and got pretty whupped - threatening their friends doesn't really count; and it wasn't even him that killed her pterosaur thing in the last episode, was it?. I can accept that Pai just wanted her friends' suffering to end... Also isn't Mrs Wong working to the same ends as Benares? Psht, 300 years is ample time for them to have a pow wow. btw Megumi Hayashibara <3 <3 <3 <3 <33333333333333 *update: it's kinda great, but not the follow-up anyone's hoping for mild spoiler , not much of a spoiler though and only makes this more tragic |

| I was hoping for a more epic fight scene at the end but oh well...that was kinda anticlimactic :/ Interesting how now it's gonna be about looking Yakumo for Pai. I hope the show gets wrapped up and we learn more about them in the next OVA! |

| so the villain was another Wu, he certainly has a great design. Yakumo definitely reminded me of Yusuke, Idunno if one inspired the other and which way. wth was that pre ending tho, out of nowhere a nuclear explosion? Reminds me of the kind thing I'd write in early years of school writing a short story with no idea how to end it "out of nowhere, everything blew up" think I actually wrote something along those lines when I was small haha. |
