| I like to judge works by what they are supposed to be. Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry is a cheesy ecchi story with a supernatural setting, so I have no expectations of an exciting story. The scene of Stella and Ikki in the bathroom is pretty legendary I would almost say xD At least I hardly remember anything from the anime, but I still have the scene clearly in my head. His reaction was very amusing Ikki couldn't comprehend a single thing that had happend since waking up this day. But one thing he could say for sure: he'd never forget that sensation Stella is a classic Tsundere and is accordingly annoying, but I didn't quite understand this: But it's disappointing that I couldn't make it. ...I'm the one who's disappointed. I mean, she can't really expect him to choose her match over his sister's, can she? There were scenes that were a little random like the one just before the fight where he is in the waiting room and suddenly gets dizzy, sees colors and falls over. It all happened quite quickly, it doesn't really go into what happened (of course we get to understand afterwards that it must have been because he was under a lot of stress) but the timing etc. was quite random for the scene and not well implemented. but overall I was satisfied with the first volume. As I said, it's good for what it's supposed to be. and yes i'm reading this in 2025 because i'm bored |
| While it took a while(2 weeks or so) to finish it was a fun read, I heard people say the translations suck but it wasn't bad it actually used some words ion even know. I seen the anime years back and loved it so its not surprising that I like the novel to, It being the original source obviously means more content but I was suprised how much more it went indepth with everything. Ikki is a goat I like how he pushes towards his ideals, the last fight with him thinking everything would be for naught but Stella doing sum crazy shi. Now mentioning her I would say shes okay? Im confused how shes already confessing feelings infront of everybody and Ikki also confessing in the hospital. Ain't yall meet a week ago or sum???? Anyway it was cool how the KOK went to the student council people watching, I was waiting for their moments unfortunately the president wasn't there but I bet next volume we'll see her. Lastly it may be my favorite part in the vol but that ending sequence where they promise to go against eachother at the final battle in the summit. "So let's go together, the two of us, as high as knights can go." Peak. |
