| And the point of that was? Assuming there isn't more drama from this event, what was the point? To show that Akio is an adult? That he can handle a tense situation? That he isn't a dog in heat? The chapter by itself is fine but in context of the rest of the story it's rather pointless. They just rehashed what was discussed in the previous chapter. I guess the author has lost his voice and is just going through the motions. |

Ever since Yoshino went long-distance, the series has felt like a 'conversation of the week' one where either one unnecessary exchange or event takes up an entire chapter. Going through the motions pacing woes. Honestly, I found this chapter and the last semi-interesting. At least it wasn't buying porn or snailing towards BREAK-UP DESPAIR. The x3 side character dynamic / girls hatred was weird enough to amuse. But it has no relevance besides cheating / sex with the female characters later. And that isn't a good thing. |
