| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- About 37 minutes in total. That was very fun. Damn, I missed the OP song so much. I'm glad they played that already. There were some other moments like preparation, execution, and the actual match. I really liked both sides' planning and strategies throughout the game. Plenty of action in the OVA. Overall, pretty nice OVA imo. I loved it and can't wait for the movie! |

That does not surprise me, since the director was near fanatical in his insistence on accuracy on the original TV series. According to the same information source, the average bra size in Japan is A-cup. Note that these girls are actually Japanese girls living in Japan and merely pretending to be Italian. Their high school merely has an Italian theme. Therefore, there must be some degree of padding going on. Maybe we'll see that if we look closely. |
| After such a long wait it's finally here but like always it was worth it!. Nice to see all the teams back and yay Yukari's did it again, such useful info. Hippo team are interesting as always with that name plates and mugs. The battles are awesome as expected, was a bit surprised they matched exactly with that small scene from ep 7 But most of all that ending was priceless! laughed so much and no wonder we didn't get to see them much after their match Looking forward to the Movie now |

| Hi Stark700, that news item about the US$330,000 first weekend box office really is interesting. I assumed that the OVA would be sold as a Blu-ray or DVD, but I had not guessed that it would get theatrical release. I have some specific numbers that explain in detail how it ends up costing about US $150,000 to produce one episode of a TV anime series. http://www.crunchyroll.ca/anime-news/2011/10/30-1/how-much-does-one-episode-of-anime-cost-to-make Perhaps the OVA would cost twice that. Therefore, it looks like these people are well on their way to covering their initial investment and making a major profit. Let's look forward to seeing lots more Girls und Panzer. |

| I want the sub!!!!!!! Anyway, it's not true that the girls are all Japanese. In the series many of the girls from the British team were all fair of hair and of eyes while the girls from the protagonist team have black or brown hair (mostly) and I guess are supposed to be ethnic Japanese. So I guess each team is supposed to represent the country in ethnic terms as well and the Italian team bra size is supposed to be the Italian bra size. |

| It was amazing to see GuP back in action! I had high expectations for this, and I was blown away. Production value is amazing as well. Sound was Explosive! Action was intense, ohh and all the puns, and names of the Italians were great! Absolutely Amazing OVA, I cant wait for the movie! Yukiari is still Best girl |

| Great to see all this action, I wish we could have got even more light tank combat with Anzio's tiny Carro Veloces, and Yukari as B1bis commander, as in the manga version. Anzio's girls are hilarious; their school seems like the best one to go to out of all of them in Girls und Panzer. |

| Italian tanks lack armor and firepower so their chances were always slim. This was the first time Oorai had the advantage in firepower and armor as in the series all their adversaries were superior in those regards. |

| A school that serves Italian food. Damn i was in the wrong schools i wanted Italian food as well when i saw still in school. Officially speaking the CV 33 isn't a tank but a tankette these where little armoured vehicles which looked like tanks. And there primary function was infantry support and scouting hence the light armour and weaponry. I have to say tho that battle was chaotic. |
