| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Hiyori is so naive it hurts. She knew what was happening to Yato but didn't know the consequences if it kept going on. Yukine needs to stop being a little prick and learn that although Yato isn't much of a god, he is still a kind one. Good thing Kazuma told Hiyori about the situation and how it could get worse otherwise she would still be suspicious of Yato. And she also learns about Nora, or strays in general. Nora is so possessive of Yato though x_x |
| Ahh yeah, she is. Is her name Viina or something? I know 'Nora' is just a way of saying 'Stray.' I thought I saw something like that but I'm not sure. I'm so glad this manga is being translated semi-regularly (knock on wood) now!! The manga itself is already on volume 7 so I know there's so much to go! I can't wait to find out more about Yato... And seriously, Yukine should really start to respect him a little more (Hiyori too, but she's a little more agreeable in this regard... Yukine's just a prick.) and stop stealing stuff. He's really childish (which, I know, is the point) but he acts so defensive when he's caught, saying "wow you don't even trust me," meanwhile he's blatantly lying to their faces. Also though, I think Yato's a little more than what he seems (on the whole 'isn't much of a god' bit), but I agree that even though he's kind of caustic, he's actually really nice. And I'm really curious as to the whole 'benefactor' thing. How can a god be a benefactor? (This is just a personal question- what anime is your signature from?) |
| Not sure what're you asking, you mean if Nora's given name by Yato is Viina? I read up to date of the chapters in Mandarin, so I don't know what her name would be in Japanese. As for the benefactor thing, Kazuma just means that Yato helped him out once :) My signature is from Kotonoha no Niwa ^^ |
| Hopefully now that Yato is back he deal with Yukine because he's really pissing me off. Seems Nora is an infamous stray,no a surprise considering how many names she got on her. |

That's the think, if he unnames Yukine, no other god would take him due to him being problematic, and he would end up dying. But Yato wants to give him a 2nd chance at "life", so that's why he's taking all that pain and trouble, it's for Yuki's own good. And Yukine is a 13 old anyways, you can't really expect him to act like he's an adult. (Sorry for quoting this 9 years later, but just wanted to let this perspective for other people that might see this thread) |
