Inside an yatch, close to the beach of Aoihoshi, Nero spoke with the woman that Rikku now planned to pay. She was renowed for her work, and seemingly skilled.
Opening the door to a luxurious room where the woman awaited for him, he walked towards the chair on the other side of the table she was sat behind. Behind her, her men and behind Nero, some of Rikku's special soldiers. According to Rikku, the price had already been settled with her, and all he needed to do was to pay here and brief her on what to do. "Well, it seems like we'll have to work together during this job. I don't mean to go against you nowhere in the work, but the guy who's paying us named me as superior for this mission. Truthfully, I dislike that... I work better alone... Not in command or under orders." He told her as he looked out of the window for a few seconds before he once more turned towards her. "What I'm trying to say here is that you can order those guys over there around." Nero pointed to the men behind him and made a blank stare as he did so. "But you can't order me around. That's all I ask of you. About your pay..." One of the men behind Nero walked towards the table and left two large suitcases above it. "It's all in there. According to Rikku, you'll get double if you not only retrieve him the cargo, but also kill a few of the people who are getting on his way." He said as he laid back on the chair and stared at the woman. They seemed to share something... A blank expression. However, he doubted she was like him.
"Our mission is simple. Though it'll take some time, we have to go to Antartica, on one of the arctic deserts, and locate the Kazumi, a ghost ship. It has been sending an SOS signal, so it won't be hard for us to do so. All expenses involving transport are paid. All we need to do is get there and retrieve the cargo that was on the ship. It is some very... Sensible cargo, so we need to wear some special clothes before we go inside the ship. However, Rikku expects our enemies to follow us... And because of that we will make a trap for them. As I said, you're the one in command, so you'll be the one planning all these things. If they do not show up, we can get out of there. Any questions?" Though brief and slightly blank, it wasn't hard to understand. Besides, Rikku was going with them so anything else she had to know he would tell her. Staring at the woman with a blank stare, he laid back on the chair and awaited her response. |
