| *zen continues on and walks into ichiraku ramen* yeah ill have the works old man: sure ill get that *starts cooking the meal* so are you new in town? what brings you to the leaf? zen: oh no ive been to the leaf before, i actually just finished an escort mission around here and could not resist the thought of ramen after a mission. dont worry ill get out of your way once ive had a good meal. old man: what are you kidding? stay awhile the leaf village wont bite. were actually having a fair later today, you should come. zen: hmm.... that sounds nice actually. thanks for your hospitality. ill send a hawk updating the conclusion of my mission so they dont get worried and i think ill take you up on that offer. *he sits in peace while a great smell is rising* |
| *zen gets his ramen and starts wolfing it down* zen: this is delicious old man: thanks, did you like my special ingredient? zen: special ingredient? did you put more beef in it *the old man transforms back into a hidden mist hunter nin with a slash across the headband* missing nin: my poison of course. i dont blame you for missing it, its quite tasteless. *zen hears muffled vocal sounds coming from the back room* missing nin: having trouble speaking are you zen? this poison is a fast acting paralysis, its the poisons main goal. killing is actually a rare side effect of it. *zen struggles and looks at the backroom door* missing nin: so why not kill you? oh...... my boss has plans for you *the muffling gets louder* hold on just a moment *he goes into the backroom and the muffling sounds like a muffled scream then the restaurant is left with dead silence. the man then returns with a bloody sickle wiping it off with a rag* missing nin: did you honestly think you could let your guard down in the leaf? that you were safe? the shinobi all across this land have become frail with the presence of peace since the age of naruto. but ive not about to justify my actions, in the end im just looking forward to payday. *he leans in close to zen* now.... youre coming with me. but first i must prepare for our trip. *he exits into the back room and zen is left lying on the floor looking at the locked entrance.* |
| *zen tries desperately to move but to no success. he tires again and again but still nothing. finally he tries to summon up as much chakra as he can still use to move the lock on the door. with immense concentration the lock twitches. he thinks to himself "alright just a little more and i might be able to call for help.... or try to lead someone here, not sure how id do that yet." finally he manages to unlock the door as sweat begins to trickle down his body. "just a little more" he thought. he was now working on turning the handle, after mentally pushing so hard he finally managed to move the handle all the way but as he went to push the door open his concentration on the handle slipped and the door became latched again. he hears noises coming from the backroom reminding him how little amount of time he has. he pushes himself to the limit to get the handle open again as quickly as possible causing veins on his face to pop out and his face to turn red. with just a little more ounce of effort his manages to push the door slightly then he releases the handle. "whew the hard part is over" he uses his concentration to push the door open using the metal on the handle. once the door is open he can see the people outside but its too dark inside the shop for people looking in to notice him and its not like he can move around to catch the corner of their eyes. he sees a leaf shinobi and uses his magnetic chakra to open their pouch and take out a kunai and drag it slowly towards his direction. the shinobi notices the fallen kunai and stares at the moving kunai confused wondering if a kid is playing a prank on him.* -75 cp (because the stress on his body caused to to use much more than normal) 125-50=50 cp left |
| Tsume was walking around the village "Damn i'm hungry..." he begins to walk to ichiraku ramen, when his kunai dropped from his pocket and begins to move toward the shop "huh?....da hell?" he picks up the kunai by the ring and the tip points towards an open door with and extremely dark room |
| *a shuriken falls out of his pouch and slides towards the shop in small spurts. meanwhile zen is concentrating on guiding the chunin to realize him so he can get help. his eyelids are starting to get very heavy as hes also fighting to stay awake.* |
| while following his weapons sees two legs on the ground in a dark room. he instant rushes toward him and whispers "it'll be okay bro" he picks up the man and dashes out of the room to the hokage mansion. |
| *the missing nin walks out of the backroom to see a blur dash out of the restaurant and the door wide open* missing nin: that clever devil. boss didnt want him for his looks thats for sure.that son of a- agh..... well i wouldve preferred this to be as under the radar as possible so i should probably pull back for now. *he transforms into a farmer looking person and walks out of the restaurant and out the village, changing his appearance behind different alleyways to make sure hes not being followed. meanwhile zen continues to try to stay awake hoping the leafs friendly reputation holds up* |
| "crap crap crap crap crap.....c'mon wake up dude- a cloud ninja?" He goes to the hokage mansion and bangs on the day "Madame Hokage!!" |
| "I don't know...it looks like he was tortured" He says in a worried tone.. "I found him laying in a dark room. I think he was using a jutsu to get my attention" |
| *the most zen can do is move his eyes so he tries to blink morse code saying that the poison inside him is paralyzing him* |
| "Oh crap he's having a seizure [T_T!] " Tsume puts him down infront of the hokage |
| "Right!" he gets the herbs from the shelf and runs backs to the hokage. when a letter comes blowing in saying.. ~On our way to get the special memory herbs now, grandma. from Hige. p.s thanks for teaming me up with raysha;)~. Tsume hands the letter & the herbs to the hokage. |
| "....[O_O].." Tsume stands there in awe as the hokage saves this poor ninja. |
| uh uh uh-- *finally starting to be able to move and speak again* thank you hokage sama, the rumors about your kindness dont do you justice. *he says in a raspy voice* *testing how much he can move he curls each finger one after the other then does the same for his toes* |
| He gently picks up Zen and carries him over to the nearest bed and covers up from his feet to his stomach "Get well soon dude...umm hokage?" he steps on the letter "oh?" he picks it up "This guy again?..." he puts the letter on the hokage's desk. |
| Tsume gets scared and hides underneath Zen's bed. He thinks What the hell is wrong with the her? I thought she was a sweet woman? oh god don't kill me |
| *while zen is resting he charges his chakra* +5 CP (55CP total) |
| *a day passes and zen has fully rested and recharged his chakra. he opens his eyes still inside the leaf village in a bed near the hokages mansion. zen thinks back to what the shinobi who poisoned him was saying* what did he mean when he said his boss had plans for me. im not usually in the kind of mission where people come after me and hunt me down like this. his angle must be to get at the raikage........ at any rate i still need to get up and investigate this. hokage sama has already done more than enough for me it would be stretching my hospitality to ask for help on this mission. ill send for help by messenger hawk to the cloud. *he writes a letter and sends the messenger hawk out into the distance, when it gets almost out of sight it randomly falls to the ground.* that bastard..... he must be blocking my calls for help. hell probably ambush me the second i leave the leaf. |
| Tsume was half asleep in the corner of the room and therefore was half listening to what Zen was saying so all her heard was 'help on this mission' & 'ambush' |
| so i see that i have two options when i leave. i can either face him man to man and hope he doesnt have back up or i can try to dash past him to the cloud and hope i can beat him on foot.......... i dont really like either option. *zen gets up and starts walking around the village* |
| Tsume was asked to secretly watch Zen by the Hokage if something goes wrong as part of his stealth training. like a mouse....in a sewer....just blend in he whispers to himself. |
| *after walking around for about an hour he decides that his best option is to stock up on tools and take him head on. after hitting various shops he walks outside the leaf village* i guess its now or never *he stretches before dashing out towards where the hawk was show down* |
| After the stretching, Tsume watches alot more closely as he sees Zen look alot more determind. |
