I think it's quite obvious that the one that is talking and fighting pre-op is Tama (or maybe merged Tama).

Tama gets a double red ear-thingy on the left side at level 3 (ep 1, 16:51). They looks like two droplets at that point.
The different shape in the pre-op (similar to Ru's hair ornament) might be because of a higher level, or because of lighting.

The shape of the ornament on the head of the one that is talking (and have a tear running down
her chin) is the same/similar as Tama's, but bigger.
The voice is similar.

I don't really get the "infected" part, but I assume there's a reason for it.

Btw, both the OP and the ED's lyrics (asenshi) mention her (apparent) wish.
