I like that one; has a really good premise - though I'm waiting for a few more episodes before jumping into it.

I like Nisekoi so far. Onodera is adorable xD

Hmm not a fan of Wizard Barristers myself. Stopped watching when the frog started molesting her in the first episode. Gross.

There hasn't been many good anime starting in 2014 yet. Hozuki is pretty good though. And I'm quite enjoying Zvezda.

Hopefully next season will be a bit better.

Only watched 3 episodes so far. It's not amazing, but the concept is pretty cool.

I'm really enjoying D-Frag as well, after watching the most recent episode. It's very silly, but it makes me giggle every episode.

Agreed about Nisekoi. I had bad feelings when I first saw it. Probably, because of the characters... When I saw the comments on nyaa for the first episode I was really surprised. Went and downloaded the first episode. It was nothing like my expectation. I'm grad I gave it a go.

Noragami, Toaru Hikuushi and Chuunibyou are pretty good too in my opinion.

Yes, Mekakucity Actors! Kagerou Daze is my favorite manga in existence, so I'm really looking forward to their anime.

That's a really difficult question at the moment. There are loads of new animes popping up on animefreak.com everyday. I have got my eye on Haikyu at the moment though and I love the ending as well.

I'm with this. Remind me in a few months to come back to this topic. So far the only show I've honestly and outright enjoyed is Witch Craft Works because of how stupidly funny it was (plus the manga was an easy read).

I can't remember any shows from last season... and that probably doesn't say much for them. So far this season, I think I've picked up four maybe five shows. Three of them will probably get dropped pretty soon.

Yeah I've pick up more than I every have before, the genres really seem to fit me this season. By that I mean shounen and sports :D Saying that as you said I'm pretty sure I'll drop a good few in the coming weeks.

I really enjoyed Strike the Blood, I was a little disappointed as I thought it finished a little prematurely because it was really getting good at episode 10. Ah well, guess I'll wait for the next season. Also the animation is top notch.

@newyd

yeah the animation was really well done. I hope for another season of it but I did manage to pick up the light novel for it and I've been deciphering it ;)

I dunno. The world is interesting enough, but the fanservice was actually distracting from me being able to enjoy it. Introducing the little sister with her panties and then that chick being naked for the majority of ep2 bugged the crap out of me.

I think I watched through ep3 or 4 and lost interest. If it gets more balance I might pick it back up, but for now it's just... there in flexget getting downloaded and then deleted when the next ep is snatched.

I guess when you've watched anime's such as Highschool DXD this all seems rather tame haha.

I'm sure some of it's that, and that I'm growing out of the typical demographic that targets that stuff.

I've found that as I've watched more and more things raw, I start to focus on what's trying to be done visually and story-wise because A) I'm not staring at subs and B) I'm trying to get as much information out of the whole experience as possible because my audio comprehension is garbage. That makes me harsher on things which is why my drop rate is through the roof. I think I've kept two shows so far this series after trying 10 or so (I just dropped Mahouka).

It's easier than you might expect as long as you're will to take the leap. The beginning sucks though like any cut over.

If you're watched any amount of anime, you'll probably understand more than you expect to. I cut over cold turkey. Don't do that. Especially on shows that have any level of plot that you care about. You will miss a lot of details (I still do), but you'll get the gist of what's happening and that's what counts in my mind.
