| The general took note of the boys anger but didn't say anything "Jacob snap out of it come on!" She said |

| he looked at her slightly confused |
| "Are you alright?" She asked worried |

| "y-yeah.....im fine" |
| She hugged him "oh good you had me worried" |

| he blushed slightly as he hugged her back "im fine really" |
| "Good I hope you really are" she said letting to of him, after a hour or so everything was slient again as people started to come out of their homes. General blue made a simple map that even they could understand and gave it to Jacob "I want you to take this and follow it to where it tells you to go in a few hours, I believe you might have what it takes to make a fine soilder oh and bring the girl too" he said before running out the door "what was that all about?" April asked |

| "Im not sure...." he looked at the map given to him |
| The top of the map read "location of the training camp" and showed the way to get to it |
|
| "when do you want to go?" |
| "I think we should wait a little longer then leave" she said "maybe we can find somewhere to rest for the time being" |

| "Okay sounds smart" he nodded and stood up |
| April climbed up onto a couch and lied down " this will do for me" she said |
|
| He nods again and lays down on the floor next to the couch |
| She quickly fell asleep |
|
| Jacob didnt, he just laid their looking at the ceiling |
| She slept for a while not waking up |
|
| After a Couple hours Jacob sat up and nudged April "Wake up its time to go" |
| She seemed still seemed a little drowsy "huh alright can you help me find where we need to go?" |
|
| "Yeah come on" he said standing up and stretching |
| She got up and stretched as well before waiting for him to lead the way |
|
| He took out the map from his pocket and walked out the door looking at it |
| She followed him out the door |
|
| After a while they arrived to the training camp, it was fairly large and well hidden into an old mountain cave system "wow" |
| "Woah who would have thought they would have a camp in here" April said as she started to notice more kids come piling in |

| "Yeah what a hiding place" |
| April noticed all the other kids starting to form a large group in front of what looked like a small stage "quick lets get with everyone else" she said dragging jacob along with her. after a few minutes the area was packed tight full of children who were going to take part in the camp, then out on the stage walked general blue "today you all will begin a journey, you will be trained to the best of our and your abilities. you will be training from dawn until dusk with little to no breaks in between you children will become the force that will drive these bastards off our planet!" he shouted "starting today you will be assigned companies in other words groups that you will work together with for the next eleven years so make sure you try and get along with everyone. to be frank some of you might not make it through this camp. for now just go to the stations and grab your uniforms, you will begin training tomorrow starting off with a 5 am wake up for endurance training good day" the general walked off the stage. april looked over to jacob "i hope were in the same group" she said |

| He nodded back to her "Yeah me too" |
| as all the kids were handed uniforms all of them had numbers on the back to tell the kids what company they would be a part of. April received her uniform after waiting in line for a bit "jacob jacob i got my uniform im a part of group four" she said holding up her uniform in front of him |

| He smiled at her "Great, i hope when i get mine im in the same too!" |
| "what are you waiting for go get it" she said while waiting for him and talking to the other kids |

| He ran up to get his uniform, waiting second in line to get it, more then just hoping he would be with April |
| April kept waiting to see what he would get wondering if they would be separated or not |
|
| He approaches april with his uniform, then smiles widely and held it up showing a 4 on the back |
| "Yay were in the same group I'm so happy" |
|
| "Me too!" he laughs then hugs her |
| Over a loud intercom someone said "all recruits head to the barracks on the other side of the cave that is all" April hugged Jacob back before saying "I think we should get moving" |
|
| "Yeah lets go" he smiled as he went towards the barracks |
| Once they arrived there was a feast laid out for them "oh my look at all this food Jacob" April said as she makes herself a plate |
|
| He stared at all the food with his mouth partly open with a slight drool |
| "What are you standing around for!" She said to him as all the food started to quickly disappear from all the hungry children |

| "no no no!!!" he ran in and collected food on a plate quickly |
| April sat down and started to eat her food "mmmm it's really good" she smiled |
|
| He dived into his food, eating all he could quickly |
| April finished the food she had quickly "what are we supposed to do now?" |
|
| he shrugs as he sat back still with a mouth full |
| "I think we just have to wait until tomorrow" one of the kids in the room said "oh I see" April said rather unhappy |

| "Whats wrong April?" he asks as he ate |
| "I'm not sure if I'm ready for this...what if I don't make it?" |
|
| "What???" he gulped his last bit of food "course you will! your amazing April!" |
