| Is it sad that this was my favourite episode in the lot? This is the type of series that doesn't do well in a 4 minute setting. It should have been at least 12 episodes to flesh out the characters, the damn plot, the setting. It it was we could have had a decent anime. Right now what we have here is a clusterfuck anime that is only good to sate one's curiosity at how fucked up some of the themes are and pass boredom. 4/5 for this episode alone because it was cute. 2/10 for the entire show. |

| The episode itself wasn't bad, but as a finale it was just, well horrible! I found no connection between the previous episodes and this particular one whatsoever. And what about Maria and her being pregnant and what not. This isn't bad if it's just an introduction to the real great series. The story undoubtedly has had great potential. ｡◕ ‿ ◕｡ |

I mean the organization thing is able to fucking cover up a monster brutally murdering many people but they can't do that much? Yume can't do it on her own? What? Was Yume infected from this from the start? How the fuck did the mom even know? Since when is Yume immortal? When they were getting attacked by that dude with the shitty hair why didn't Yume just, uhh I don't know, eat him? Did Yume get vectors? Did she merge with Elfen Lied at one point? The stupid little shit never even won a teddy bear why are they so symbolistic? Why was the mom a masochist? Why does Yume need her ONIICHAN to protect her when she can literally just rip off peoples' skin and organs if she wants to? How does one find arousal in the face of the woman who just fed off their flesh? Why did the dog explode? Why would they get the poor animal involved in this shitty show? Why isn't there a spinoff with just the cat? Eventually I just gave up and made up my own ideas that every scene and line had hidden symbolism and priority in the wonderfully woven story. |

| Hmm... I watched all of the uncut episodes yesterday. It's like watching a car accident. You want to, but you just can't look away. Those guro scenes where quite detailed though. Too bad I'm not into that. In terms of story it was as trashy as it could be. 80% of the dialogue was basically "Onii-chan", "Yume", "I'm so hungry", "Munch Munch". It was also quite funny that those 'researchers' just so happened to have a chainsaw ready for their dissection. xD The fight... more like slaughter... of those special force guys reminded me a bit of the first episode of Elfen Lied. That was kinda cool if you are into gory fights. But other than that, this show was mostly disgusting and just not very well written at all. Bleh / 10 |

| some producers do anime adaptations of manga series to of course make money but also to promote the manga... but this adaptation did the opposite.. what a garbage but still I'll give this a 3/10 a tad high because it didn't piss me off more than Mahou Sensou did.. I gave that trash a 2. |

| They should've stuck with the Maria and the monster baby story-line. Only episode I really enjoyed is Episode 7, and they didn't even continue it; so I'm pissed. Anyway, terrible last episode, and terrible series. |
| SEASON 2! SEASON 2! Please! This is easily the most hilarious show I've watched. It's level of terrible continues to increase every single week. 1/10. But I cant say that I didnt enjoy the ride. |

| I don't think you guys understand what Pupa is, Oh, and btw is Not the worst anime ever. Everyone says it terrible... yet no one explains why they have that opinion. I would love people to say why they hated it. I think that they expected something different than what they got but, seriously, what where you expecting about an anime that has a girl eater her brother? What great plot development and twists did you think that they would have time to get to with only 3 minutes of actual content per episodes? For most of you, I think that you Thought it would be like Shiki, Another, or some other horror anime that you have seen. They really didn't have the time to create such a complex atmosphere.. They didn't have time to build a connective story tieing one scene to the next adequately. They didn't have time to develop the characters or to build the world. It was more like watching the summary episode in anime. | ^the reason why Pupa is shit is because 1. the animation sucks 2. the music sucks 3. the characters suck (like, they aren't even characters ...) 4. the story is totally unfinished 5. do I need more reasons? -> It literally sucks in all aspects if you were to review this anime. And don't give me that bullshit of "it didn't have enough time!". There are other anime (or OVA's) who are much shorter but managed to create a masterpiece in like... 10 minutes. |

| Before watching this, I thought; "You know, maybe it's not as bad as people are saying." But nope, it actually is. I tend to be quite tolerant and patient when it comes to anime, but this was too much for me. Just... no. Didn't make me care about the characters, didn't make me feel invested in the story AT ALL. It was one random scene to the next. Yea, sure, there is some kind of underlying plot there. But this anime doesn't accomplish anything with it. I'm sure the manga does though, to some extent at least. Animation quality was "acceptable". Wasn't that terrible. Everything else was though pretty much. |
| Well, curiosity got the better of me. Didn't enjoy that in any aspect. Well, the OP was a tiny bit interesting? A tiny bit. That's about the only positive thing I can lean towards. Just on a whole I found it really weird and unpleasant. I didn't expect anything considering the ranking, reviews and anything else I'd heard but... Oh well. Onto something new. |
