The sun was high that hot summer day. The Allerton Hotel stands as tall as the other skyscrapers on the Magnificent Mile on the North Side of Chicago. A single police cruiser is parked in front of the hotel. A man in a suit waits in front of the cruiser.

He walked out with a rather large man in handcuffs. The ;arge man growls as he is placed in the cop cruiser.
"He is all yours now, Rick" Sean said to the Detective.
Rick grinned as he got into the driver's seat. "Right. Thanks, pal. Your Ten Grand is already in the bank."
Sean grinned back. "Thanks. Have a good one, Rick." He pat the top of the cruiser as he left.

The sun's hot rays pierced the tinted windows of a Mitsubishi Lancer parked across the street. Many minutes passed until a woman and a man walked out of a house with a semi-neglected yard. The man held a black briefcase that was handcuffed to his wrist. The blonde woman strutted side by side with the man, who she escorted onto the passenger side of the Lancer.

She walked around to the other side and strapped the seatbelt and adjusted the belt so it wouldn't ride up her breasts. She looked into the rear view mirror and turned her head to the back. She turned the key, which made the Lancer purr with power. She revved the engine as she pulled out of the spot.

Hours later, after she traveled the highways and evaded the people who tracked her passenger, she arrived at the destination where the man would transfer the package to someone else.

She arrived in Chicago and pulled up to a warehouse. A small group of yakuza waited outside. She left the car running and escorted the man out toward the group. They unlocked his cuff and took the case and checked the contents. They nodded to each other and presented another briefcase.

"Thank you, Ms. Locke. Here's your Twenty Grand."

Trish opened the case and checked for counterfeit bills. They were authentic. Her lips gave a small smile as she kissed his cheek and walked back to her car. She sped off the scene, back to her apartment.

Kitty watched as her partner gave the man to the detective. She walked over to him. "Who is next?"

Sean smiled at Kitty. "We head home." He walked to his 1967 GTO and got in.

Trish arrived back at her apartment and reloaded on her sustenance. After she took a shower and changed her clothes into a tank top and denim pants. She slipped on her jacket over her tank top and brushed her hair.

As she finished her hair, the bell rang.

She jogged toward the door to see who was there. It wasn't the police, it looked more like another customer. She unlocked the door and opened it.

It was a lovely woman with a body almost as voluptuous as her own. She raised a brow as the woman let out a sigh as she crossed her arms and looked downward.

"What do you need, Madam?" Trish asked.

"I need you to get me out of the state. I just escaped from being held hostage by a group of terrorists." The woman looked at Trish with glistened eyes.

Trish nodded and looked to the sides as she pulled her in and closed the door. Trish prepared what she would need for the journey and properly equipped her attire with stronger kevlar and rifles.

Trish escorted her to the car. She looked toward the passenger side. "So where do you prefer to go?"

"I want to go to Michigan... " she trailed off.

Michigan was rather tame and was a logical choice. She revved the engine and sped off toward the closest highway.
