| The animation was a little funky, but great story. Akari could have easily been Haruto's girlfriend. To think he has so many childhood friends he is close to. |

| Akari in just one episode became a very likable character for me. She isn't a pushover and she's a much better girl for Haruto. The kiss was pretty predictable, and when Akari got mad at Haruto when going to school I could see love in her eyes. The way she looked at Haruto just spelled love towards him. I much prefer Akari over Eba no questions asked. Akari > Eba Asuka > Eba |

| Oh God, let A Town Where You Rage begin again Animation was average which is kinda what I expected. Oh well, at least Akari looked cute as a kid and her voice matches with her character. For a kid, she's pretty tough. That kiss was predictable. Tbh if I was Haruto, I would date Akari.. |

| Aw. They animated one of my favorite Akari moment in the manga. Since this is a two episode, I wonder if it will be a fantasy chapter, where Akari's route will be given focus on. |

| Second episode is the manga's finale, as seen from Yuzuki's point of view, there's no relation to Akari. This one focused on her because the original story it was adapted from also had her as an important character, but these two OVAs aren't supposed to be a "Akari fantasy OVA". They're just adapting important/popular stuff, which also happens to work well for those that haven't read the manga. It was a nice episode, and this story was always kinda cute. It helps that I felt the seiyuu were much more into it in general than in the TV series, where I felt everyone delivered flat performances. But maybe it's to do with the fact that they were younger here. Still not a huge fan of Yamauchi's direction and the bizarre storyboading and coloring/post processing applied to this, but oh well. On the good, though, the ED theme is indeed really catchy and sounds kinda oldschool. Loved it! And now to wait for the finale! |

| This was one of my favorite sections of the manga and, in my opinion, one of the top three or four of the episodes of the anime. It was very well done, heartfelt, funny, and touching. That kiss at the end! Sweet! Akari should have pushed harder, except that she didn't want to break up the team. (Same reason why Takeshi never made his move on Akari... LOL) Well, everyone ends up happy in the end, in the manga. |

| That was a pretty good prewuel to the series. I liked how they shoed how the three of them became friends. That was real nice. I didn't know Akari was half Russian. I guess that explains her blue eye color and blonde hair. I'm glad Haruto and Takashi stood up for her when those bullies beat her. Then it cuts back to before Haruto moves to Tokyo and what his freinds think about that decision. They don't approve. I didn't expect that kiss. I didn't know Akari like Haruto. I always thought they were just friends. Very good episode. Also that ED song is really good too! |
| Wow, now that is a great farewell gift. What a kiss. I never knew she liked the male MC..... As for the glasses guy, he should really consider going a trip so he can get a farewell kiss from the blonde chick as well!!!!!! With all that said, in all seriousness, the blonde girl had absolutely no reason for liking the male MC more than the glasses guy. They were both on the same level when it came to her eyes. So for her to pick a favorite was just dirty of her part. I guess this OVA episode is better to be seen after both the two original OVA episodes that came out before the start of the main series. |
