Just wondering how many actual women's wrestling fans we have among the audience of this anime.

This show is really mostly about joshi puroresu fanservice. If you don't really watch puroresu and your only form of wrestling exposure is Sports Entertainment wrestling (WWE, WCW, TNA), then I kind of understand why the show might be a tough watch. I think if you were into puroresu, you might be able to appreciate the series for what it achieved. But puroresu isn't really popular with western audiences and then joshi puroresu is even more niche, so I get it.

The joshi group that appears in the anime and manga, World Wonder Ring Stardom, it pretty cool too. Io Shirai is always fun to watch, especially when she used to tag with Kana. Yoshiko is great, especially after defeating Aikawa, who was an even bigger star before she had to part ways with Stardom.

If you think good women's wrestling can't be found in the US you aren't looking very hard. May I suggest Charlotte v. Natalya from NXT Takeover I and Charlotte v. Sasha Banks from NXT Takeover III?
