| THIS IS AN MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- So I marathoned my way through Spiral manga (well from volume 4 which is where I stopped years back) and I'll have to say, I'm so happy I finally know what Blade Children are after so many years! *cries* But yeah, manga is pretty intense. The Kanone arc was awesome. So much action (literally everyone is toting a gun around, even Ayumu and Hiyono :O :O) and everyone gets a ridiculous amount of injuries. Didn't expect this to happen. Imagine if they decided to animate that arc, lol. Too much blood. And then the start of the Hizumi arc. I was sort of confused what was going on. I mean it's pretty funny that two people destined to kill each other, and the person who is destined to die would suddenly show up and decide to be chummy to Ayumu. And they like live together and what not. And it really seemed that Hizumi wasn't out to trick Ayumu or whatever, maybe more like observe him and see whether he can be an ally or an enemy (couldn't tell). I was like NOOO~ when Kanone died. I was expecting a different face from the usual stoned face on Eyes but it didn't happen. Just that he went all "hair covers his eyes" and punches the wall. I wanted some tears at least! Although we did already get Eyes crying once... End of chapter 66 ... ooh, Ayumu and Kiyotaka are twin brothers? Yet there's a huge age difference, rofl. I won't comment because I unfortunately read Spiral spoilers a while back on Wikipedia. Bleh. |
| I was freaking out when Kanone died too :( :( :( I kept hoping he'd come back, but SIX TIMES. He shot him SIX TIMES. Stupid little brat!! Roooar~! What you said about Eyes crying though... I think it was better that he cried when talking to Kanone in the previous arc than crying at his death... I dunno, I think it was much more meaningful there. I still hate that Kanone died though. They better definitely, DEFINITELY make it so that that HAAAAD to happen. They can't be twins, which leaves the only alternative - they're CLONES! (Crystal, had enough of clones yet xD Chapter 178 of a certain clone filled manga was just release last week...) But I was wondering that way before he asked for a DNA check, actually. But it didn't seem right because Ayumu was supposed to be "born" before Kiyotaka ever got involved with the Blade Children. Man, Kiyotaka is becoming more and more of a bastard as this series continues on... But, alas, it's been two months since any activity on Spiral :( I hope they haven't stopped scanlating it. As much as I want to read the spoilers, it's only 11 damn chapters! I wanna read them - and now!! |
| Yes, I've had enough of the clones. If they aren't twins, they're clones! And I bet Kiyotaka was planning all of his... I have no idea... 'evil-ness' way before it seemed that he was involved with this Blade Children business. And I'll agree that Eyes' tears for when he declared that he will be Kanone's enemy or something like that was more meaningful then his actual death. Now if only we can get those 11 damn chapters so I can finally finish this series. |
