| So I got interested in the anime when I found out that the character designer is Akio Takami of Kanokon and Ladies vs Butlers, and while those two series I thought were cute, I couldn't go through the first episode without thinking "wtf is going on?"" The story seems to try to convince the audience that the students and faculty like they are human incarnations of their respective weapons but I can't just seem to believe that as it just seems like they are regular high school students but rather than a normal school, they are at a firearms school, kinda like Girls und Panzer. Its like saying "Oh, its just like real life but these girls are cars, anthropomorphic cars but act like regular high school girls while there is no evidence that shows that this is true other than they are acting as if they are brainwashed to think they are cars". I think that's what is putting me off. Can someone explain as wherever I look, I cant seem to find the answer? |

But I will soldier on. From watching 2 or 3 other shows by the same studio, they're not really good at explaining the 'just what the hell is going on' thing... Infact, I'm pretty sure their newest show is just about how many boob and panty shots can they shove into the viewers face.. |

I really need to pay more attention to who is the showrunner(s) for series then because I will have to finish it (if I start, cant finish until i know how it ends, and that means no cheating via wikis). In the end, it will be if I like it or not; maybe the manga may do a better job... |

| I'm only 3 episodes in and I can't even get a firm grasp of why anything occurring has any importance. The girls...are guns? It seems that the only significance for them being "guns", is their sexualized reactions to certain things and relating them to guns. I just don't enjoy this very much, I should've figured I was getting into something when I chose to watch this. |
