Eventually, a quarter of the planet was glassed, and it was abandoned because of the destruction it had taken. Too much money to build a new fortress, the people were abandoned. Bio Before the Apocalypse: Kreoss was a special forces soldier fighting for the Empire of Menoth, fighting against the ruthless Confederate States of Khador. There was a massive battle for the planet of Cadia, his home planet, and also a fortress planet, being a military instillation because it is so close to the border. The two forces clashed on Cadia, bombarding each other in interstellar combat, and also bombarding Cadia itself. Eventually, a quarter of the planet was glassed, and it was abandoned because of the destruction it had taken. Too much money to build a new fortress, the people were abandoned. Raiders from other planets came to take advantage and set up home base.
