Is anyone else excited to see this series? I haven't read the novels, but the story seems interesting enough. To bad there's been no release of a trailer to check out exactly how the animation is going to look. But the promotional pictures look pretty well done.
The series runs the risk of being really cliche, but then again most anime are nowadays. It's still another promising series to add to the "plan to watch" list.
Yeah I'd say curious fits me as well. It could be pretty interesting and being haunted by a childhood friend isn't something you see that often. Though considering how many times friends have said "I will haunt you" to each other it should happen more often :).
I'm digging the animation style more than I thought I would. I'm not too sure about what's happing with the storyline. It looks pretty strange. Hopefully it's good strange and not Akane-iro no strange.
i guess, I;m not totally sure what this anime is about because of the bad discrpition, but I'll watch the first few eps to see what its about then decide weather or not to keep watching.
So to answer your question, I'm not overly excited, but I do want to watch it.
I've totally no idea what this show is about, but let's see the female chara looks like a orange-haired sakura from CCS.. So far what catches my eye though are the OP and ED being done by angela, sweet~~
Meh, I was somewhat curious before I learned that this was a mecha. I'll watch the first ep and see if it is any good or not but I'm not expecting much.
Originally, I was looking forward to a story which takes place in a post-apocalyptic era as that the title "Asura" tends to be often used in the Shin Megami Tensei games. And the fact that the poster displays a guy and a ghost girl while that the reflection in the water foreshadows an era of post-apocalypse. I thought it would turn out like many of those "happy endings" of the Shin Megami Tensei series yet..
First, it was mainly about the Dark Society which consists of mostly the main characters who tend to cause trouble by destroying things from one place to another as that the acting president of the club, Shuri is an android that resembles Gundam Heavyarms the way the missiles fly all over the places. Generally, what Shuri really do is relax and have fun doing ecchi things as opposed to doing work.
Then, there is the Divine Council which is led by Reishirou, better know to be a hypocrite who talks nothing but justice and what's right, as well as all the anti-demon and holy preaches. He and his group is very unpopular. On the other hand, the Dark Society tend to have a club room that looks similar to the first save point in Nocturne. A room full of skulls, magical circles, and strange objects. The Divine Council are people who wield machine guns and dressed in white, while the Dark Society are dressed in black. Supposedly, this looks like a battle of Angels and Demons in Devil Survivor but not exactly...
Somehow, all these people are manipulated by a guy in the shadows, Natsume Naotaka who seems to be teaming up with the troublemaker Asura Cryin that have ulterior motives which are never explained except that it is of utmost importance, Kagakagari and strangely, the guy also makes request to Shuri, stand-in leader of the Dark Society as that they are old friends. Naotaka sounds a lot like Naoya of Devil Survivor, the one pulling all the strings in the shadows yet isn't going to make an appearance until the next season.
Aside from all these similarities with a variety of Shin Megami Tensei games, it comes nowhere close, unless the second season is going to go off with most of the divinity and demon clash in a post-apocalyptic era as that some of the guys kept on talking about how the world will wither soon.
