DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh god Kyuo, can't you pick a better time to ask Elle that stupid question? I mean seriously? You've been useless the past few episodes and now you're confronting Elle about love on the battlefield. Why? Why has the characters become annoying? It's almost the end, please don't make me hate you. Lunalis Umbra finally appears. Two more episodes to go but we still don't know who that shady dude pulling the strings is. |

| this has to be my least favorite ep so far. took me over an hour to watch because i kept getting bored and finding something more interesting to do with my time, then remembering "oh yeah i'm stuck in this Shadow Skill ep," and clicking ▶ again. this seems yet another episode suffering from the animation budget. i found the summoner-priestess lady's chants, shouts, and ululations to be really irritating (Japanese dub). two episodes to go but the trend suggests we've already seen the best of this show in the first cour-and-a-half. as a side note, i assumed the point of Elle destroying the gate was to make it impassible, but it appears to have given the enemy easy access to the city, which makes no sense at all, but then most of the facts around the siege of Karuda don't make sense either. they have all these catapults and siege engines and not a single one ever fires that i noticed. the defenders also just let the enemy army march right up to the gate. i suggest the real enemy of this show is its animation budget. |
