I'm coming closer and closer to dropping this show the more I think about how lame Yuuta is and how messed up his 'relationship' is with Rikka. He doesn't deserve her at all, much less to be the main character of this show. It's not so much smacking the head as it is love taps. I've had many friends(alongside myself) be in relationships where we hit one another in a loving way. I'd say it's normal. You also must remember this is only a show after all. Love doesn't just magically happen in anime, even in magical anime. Without the buildup of their relationship the show would be pointless. It's cheesy I know, but that's how it works. At least they're in a relationship which is quite astounding considering these types of anime never even have couples even at the end of the series. |

What 7thvoid mentioned was what I was trying to say. I think these things are perfectly normal, nothing wrong with it. There is also nothing wrong with being in a relationship for 3/4 of a year and having a nose-bump as the closest thing to a kiss. Everyone has their own comfort zones and can take a relationship at their own pace. And if you want to drop it, go ahead. No one's stopping you right? I love the anime the way it is and can't think of it being any better than it is right now. You may not like it, but that's your own opinion and this is mine. |

| This episode was pretty good. I liked the Magical Girl Yuuta scene and then Shinka comes in.. oh god the expression was priceless. I like Satone though. She might (imo) have some romantic feelings for Yuuta since she is an old friend and was the one who inspired Yuuta to have chunibyo, while Yuuta was the one who inspired Rikka. Although her presence might increase Rikka and Yuuta's relationship (last scene: contract) I am craving for more episodes. |

I am surprised by how faithful they kept Satone's introduction to the book, including her pretext of coming to the school to fight an angel; but the "angel" is not actually Rikka, so I'm wondering, will KyoAni introduce the real angel as well? (Not that she gets a real introduction in the book, either, so perhaps there is no need to mention it further, but I thought for sure they would change up Satone's introduction quite a bit.) And my favorite part of the ep = Nibutani's reaction to mahou shoujo Yuuta. I have not had a satisfactory dose of Nibutani yet this season. Most times it's not until after the third episode. Some still watch just because though. I also found her reaction to be quite funny. Hopefully her and the others wont be put on the back burner this season due to the need for romance. |

| Satone finally makes an appearance. Judging from what was seen this ep I like the purpose of her character. Some may hate the idea of a love triangle, but this love triangle is pretty unique in that both girls have chuunibyou syndrome so their relationships are vastly different to what's seen in other anime. Seeing Rikka get jealous was cute, and it's clear the whole purpose of the new character is to grow Rikka and Yuuta's relationship. The ending is proof of that. Speaking of the ending.. hhnnnnggghhhhh. |
