Maou na Ore to Fushihime no Yubiwa Volume 2 Discussion
| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- For volume 1, it's about Zonmi so this time, the spotlight turns to Kyouko as the heroine of volume 2! Kyouko has always wanted to make a contract with the rookie tamer, Chiharu, and become his partner. However, Chiharu made a contract with Zonmi first, after what happened in the first volume. It would take 3 years for a rookie tamer like Chiharu to be allowed to get a second monster and Kyouko would not want to wait that long. And her father thinks that Chiharu might even choose the red dragon as a second monster because red dragons overshadow the Nephilims. Losing hope, Kyouko thought of usurping the contract from Zonmi by making Chiharu notice her charms as a monster and as a woman, making him hers. Hmm, it looks like the plan was a failure.. Manami is really crazy. One of the craziest imoutos with a brocon. Damn, as a fellow guy, would you like to have a younger sister like her? And then it appears like Manami stood up as the "love cupid" for Kyouko so Kyouko and Chiharu could get together, kicking Zonmi out of the equation. When Chiharu and Kyouko were young kids, during the Tanabata, they made a wish and wrote them on their tanzaku. It had something to do with their promise together when they were still together as kids. During the night of the festival, Haru was with three girls: Iris and Kyouko wearing yukatas, and Zonmi too who found them. The only girl missing was Kyouko. She was abducted by the enemy. It was Noelle, a Black Tamer, and the one Kyouko was supposed to have a contract with according to her dad. (Got confused with the pronouns in the first chapter or am I missing something here?) After a series of events, Chiharu lost his sanity and unleased a frightening magic power that made all the monsters Noelle summoned a no match for him. But Chiharu was hugged from behind by Kyouko to make him realize to return himself back to being human, otherwise he might continue becoming an unstoppable killing machine. Kyouko's wish that she wrote on the tanzaku when she was young was revealed in the epilogue. Hmhmm~ :3 Haru gets a second Contract Ring, and makes a Contract with Kyouko in the end. Happy ending for Kyouko! Now it's Iris' turn next in volume 3! ---------- I really would like to see Kyouko's full form as a Nephilim. The descriptions in Chapter 1 didn't cut it and that one picture didn't show her entire Nephilim form. Kyouko's really pretty and has monstrous physical strength! Wow, she's my type! :3 This was a really good volume and, as usual, the author can still write some hilarious bits. x3 An excerpt from chapter 5: I lol'd at this. xD |
