Is Tsuki ni Naku a direct sequel to Hana no Uta?

Just finished Hana no Uta and I was wondering if there's a part of the manga that I should read before continuing on to this part? c:

It's not likely to gloss over anything too important, so you can jump right in. Still, there are some nice scenes and character development in the chapters between Hana no Uta and Tsuki no Naku.
Based on the episode 1 discussion so far, they cover chapter 57, and possibly some of chapter 51, before going into Tsuki no Naku proper (58-62). Hana no Uta ends in chapter 50, so the entire portion between the two arcs would be chapters 51-57, and reading 51-56 may prove beneficial, even if not really necessary.

You're not missing much on the plot so you can watch this after watching Hana no Uta. Though it really doesn't hurt just to read the original manga that gave you the anime series.
